FROM HOME AND CROSS-BOARDER MISSION FIELDS
We proclaim how great you are and tell of the wonderful things you have done. (Psalm 75:1)

FIRST (1ST) MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS TO BE OBSERVED NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY AS EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY. THEREFORE, ALL EMS ARMS, MISSIONARIES, OFFICE STAFF, PRAYER PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS SHOULD PLEASE ENDEAVOR TO JOIN THE EMS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN PRAYERS. MONDAY 1ST
Praise God for sustaining EMS through the month of March; praise God for His Grace and Mercies that has kept us thus far.

TUESDAY 2ND
Praise God for the safe trip granted to Rev. Stephen Panya Baba, the ECWA President, and Rev. Simon Yako, the EMS Director, Rev. Joshua Yakubu, The EMS Cross Border mission coordinator and the other team members to Mali for the ECWA Mali church foundation laying program which was successful.

WEDNESDAY 3RD
Praise God for saving our missionaries from Jihadists in Maro LCC of Kasuwan Magani DCC and Kurebe LCC in Kaduna Central DCC; Thank God for saving the child of Pas. Ishaku Nabara in Agata, katari DCC, he fell in a well but was recurred with no injury.

THURSDAY 4TH
Praise God for bringing two more candidates for ECWA Mali to be prepared for theological training, as the future of the church leaders (Hamidou Guirou, Ezekiel Tessougue and Tenou Coro). Pray that they stay faithful to their calling.

FRIDAY 5TH
Praise God for the first Fellowship Bible Church (FBC) training that was conducted in February among the Chichewa people in Malawi. The facilitators were highly encouraged with the transformation among the people.

SATURDAY 6TH
Praise God for Figdrosse prayer house where Rev. Sodji is taking care of, they have built a church batcher and are trusting God for money to build a fence and floor the church. Pray for God’s provision for the completion of the project.

WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS
Therefore they spent a long time there speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was testifying to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be done by their hands. Acts 14:3

SUNDAY 7TH
Ask that EMS Missionaries will be committed to always observing their quiet time each day to meditate upon God’s word so that their relationship with Him will continually grow. Pray that as they study they will hide His word in their heart and as they need it to be recalled to their memory that Holy Spirit prompts them at just the right time.

MONDAY8TH
Pray that EMS MANAGEMENT teams will always be spiritually prepared for the work and war they are sure to face in ministry.

TUESDAY 9TH
Pray that EMS BOARD MEMBERS will be flexible in their planning and discern what God wants to accomplish through EMS.

WEDNESDAY 10TH
Pray that God would meet the financial obligations of each EMS SUPPORTER.

THURSDAY 11TH
Pray that each and every day freedom of utterance is given to our leaders that they will open their mouths boldly and courageously as they should to get the Gospel to the people; and to also speak to people to get involved in missions.

  • Pray that ECWA leaders shall be called the priests of the Lord. People will speak of them as ministers of God. That they shall eat the wealth of the nations. Pray that no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper and that any tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be shown to be in the wrong. Pray that God will prosper them abundantly, physically, spiritually and financially. (Isa 61:1, 6; Isa 54:17)

FRIDAY 12TH
Ask that the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might and the spirit of knowledge shall rest upon ECWA MINISTERS/STAKEHOLDERS. Pray that they live daily with the consciousness of their calling to preach the Gospel to the meek, the poor, the wealthy and the afflicted; to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the physical and spiritual captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound. (Isa 11:2, 3).

SATURDAY 13TH
FAR NORTH – KATSINA DCC – Ask God to protect missionaries in this region with their families and to grant them boldness, wisdom and utterance to preach the gospel against all odds.

  • Pray for the on-going projects both in the DCCs and the region for provisions to have them all completed.
  • Let’s not relent in Praying for missionaries who are working and laboring in difficult terrains in this region. Ask the Lord to shield, guide and defend them and their families from every evil.

WEEK THREE – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS
“And now, Lord, take note of their threats, and grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your word with all confidence, Acts 4:29

SUNDAY 14TH
EMS HOUSE OF HOPE Pray that EMS house of hope (gidan bege) staff will experience safe travel in all their short and long distant mission trips and sound health daily.

MONDAY 15TH
CENTRAL REGION – GARKI – Pray for our partner churches, pastors, individuals and organizations in Central Region to have strength, growth, and success in fulfilling God’s disciple-making mission in their context. Ask the Lord to grant wisdom to Rev. Ayuba Gambo and all the DCCs coordinators on how to raise new supporters and donors in region.

TUESDAY 16TH
FAR NORTH WEST REGION- KEBBI – Pray that the Holy Spirit would go ahead of our missionaries in this region and prepare the hearts of the lost to respond to Christ and that the Holy Spirit would draw unbelievers to Christ through the preaching of the gospel.

WEDNESDAY 17TH
NORTH WEST REGION – KADUNA – Pray for completion of the coordinator’s house project in kwassam, it has reached a roofing stage to the glory of God.

  • Pray for the healing of missionaries who are faced with health challenges, like Rev. & Mrs. Bullus Mayo, Rev & Mrs. Gershon Ishaya, Danjuma H. Yakubu Damisa and Mrs. Danjuma Rebecca.

THURSDAY 18TH
MID CENTRAL REGION- KAGORO Appreciate God for the 4 mission station that were handed over to the district church council (DCC) as fully grown churches in Kurmin Musa. Ask the Lord to sustain these churches to grow even spiritually and in turn be a very strong mission sponsoring churches.

FRIDAY 19TH
SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION- JALINGO – Ask the Lord to provide a motor cycle for Taraba DCC coordinator to enhance his movements for mission works.

  • Pray that our missionaries in this region will be abundantly wise and discerning as well as filled with love for those whom they will serve and share the gospel with.

SATURDAY 20TH
EMS SOUTH NORTH WEST REGION – Pray for the outpouring of Holy Spirit upon the missionaries working among unreached people groups in South North East Region and ask God to increase their love and passion for the work. Pray that their faith will remain firm and that tent-making will not be a distraction to their primary assignment of preaching the gospel.

WEEK FOUR – FOCUS ON CROSS-BORDERS MISSION FIELDS
And he entered the synagogue and continued speaking out boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God Acts 19:8

SUNDAY 21ST
CROSS BORDERS CRITICAL NEED – EMS is still trusting God for the sum of about N854M that is urgently needed for various critical Cross Borders Projects. Let’s not relent in praying for this need.

MONDAY 22ND
Praise God for the successful visit of our two leaders in Malawi that visited ECWA churches in Mozambique. Pastor Robin Mikundi and Pastor James Banda reported that much need to be done to encourage the churches in Mozambique. They found that the spiritual hunger there is far more than one can see in Malawi. Pray for Pastor Adriano for commitment as he mobilizes the churches in Mozambique.

  • Pray for the need of a ministry bus estimated at N3.5m, white boards for teaching literacy at the coast of N80, 000 and the sum of N300, 000 to pay a land for ECWA Midima.

TUESDAY 23RD
ECWA BENIN REPUBLIC – Praise God for His grace and provision for Rev. Amos Olugbenga and his wife to attend this year’s annual conference in Egbe, Kogi state Nigeria where they were able to create awareness concerning their mission work in Benin Republic; praise God for the people who made commitment to support the mission work in Benin Republic including Hon. Asalu from Egbe who donated a sewing machine and a milling machine to assist those that may be in need in the field.

WEDNESDAY 24TH
Pray for the Lord to provide the needed resources for the building of ECWA Headquarters, Mali as the project requires much resources.

  • Pray also for the architect handling the project to be committed and be faithful in the building project from start to finish.
  • Keep praying for the 26 children who said the salvation prayer on 2/12/18, in Mali to understand God’s complete package of salvation and keep them save through persecution.

THURSDAY 25TH
ECWA GAMBIA – Thank God for the life of Philip Mendy who steps in to help the church in the Gambia where Peter T. Mendy left to attend school in Kagoro, Nigeria. Pray for Philip that God will give him grace and increase his wisdom in the knowledge of God’s word.

  • Pray for Rev. Dominic and his wife as they disciple the youth in what they call “Stewards’ Caravan Missions.”
  • Pray for an eighteen year old girl from Nigeria who is a sex worker in the Gambia, she gave her life to Christ pray for her to stand firm in the Lord.

FRIDAY 26TH
ECWA REPUBLIC OF GHANA – Pray for understanding and unity among the Ghana field workers.

  • Pray that the work there will progress and that there would not be any discouragement among them.
  • Pray for the progress of the churches in both southern and northern Ghana. There are issues of land that were not yet resolved ask the Lord to intervene in the situation.
  • Pray for the ECWA Mission School that is being ran by Rev. & Mrs. Tortuman ask the Lord to give them the wisdom and the funds to make the school impactful in the community.

SATURDAY 27TH
ECWA NIGER REPUBLIC – Pray for our Missionaries in Niger Republic to be faithful, focus and committed in their duty posts as missionaries.

  • Pray for the people of Koukan Kwaddi village, where Pastor & Mrs. Lawrence Nuhu are serving for God to bring about repentance of souls among the people.
  • Pray for fruit of the evangelism and outreach that is carried out in prison every Saturday by Rev. Kanawa and others.

SUNDAY 28TH
ECWA ZAMBIA – Praise God for the ministry of Rev. & Mrs. Kuzasuwat in Zambia. They are daily getting acceptance by the community and equally being involved in communal activities especially among the youth and the women especially in spiritual matters.

  • Praise God for the baptism of 6 members in ECWA Mufulira, Zambia. Pray for them to be strong in the Lord and become transforming agents in the society.

MONDAY 29TH
Pray for Kafuwe mission station and the volunteer Samuel Mulenga that God will cause growth and bless the ministry in that station.

  • Pray for the safety of our brethren in various mission stations ZAMBIA that have changed locations in search of jobs, schools, or gone to farms and can only be back after the harvest.
  • Pray for financial support towards the empowerment program of the Deborah Generation handled by Mrs. Kuzasuwat.

TUESDAY 30TH
ECWA KENYA – Praise God for the growth in membership of the church in Otawala in Kenya and the Increase of the pupils attending the school church school.

  • Pray for God to provide a church land and a school van for the ministry in Otawala, Kenya.

FRIDAY 1STThe journey through the month of February for us as a ministry has been sweet and smooth; praise God for His sustaining grace and mercies that have kept us thus far.SATURDAY 2ND Praise God for the safe trip granted to Rev. Amah Ishaku to Nigeria and back to Mali on the need to raise funds for the Mali mission project. Also praise God for the comfort He is granting the family over the demise of his father-in-law.SUNDAY 3RD Praise God for the safe arrival of the new Regional Coordinator of Far North Region, Rev. Adamu Dutse, to his new region and for a safe trip in his visit to all the DCC offices. Ask God to grant wisdom and new strategies to him and the missionaries working in this region on how to move the work forward.

MONDAY 4TH Praise God for using Pastor Samaila Sarki who dug a well in his mission station. This well has become the only source of clean drinking water in the community. To save this well from collapsing, he is in need of seven bags of cement to ring the well for longer lasting usage. Ask the Lord to grant opening for this need to be met.

TUESDAY 5TH Praise God for the new primary and nursery school in Sabon Gida; we thank God for the pupils who have enrolled. Pray that the school will be a channel of winning souls to Christ.

WEDNESDAY 6TH Praise God for the rescue of our dear Pastor Bulus Moses, who was kidnapped and taken to an unknown destination. He was also given poison to drink after which he was to be killed, but the Lord stepped in and he was miraculously rescued from the hands of the enemy. He is currently doing fine and is healthy. Praise God!

THURSDAY 7THPraise God for sparing the life of Rev. Danjuma A. Attah, the Central DCC Coordinator, who was involved in an accident on 28/1/2019, pray for speedy healing to the injury on his knee.

FRIDAY 8TH Praise God for the family of Mr. & Mrs. Jeremiah Di’las who donated 54 bags of grains, 27 for EMS Children School Lakweme and 27 for missionaries of Gombe DCC. The family of Mr. & Mrs. Ezra Amos gave us 22 bags of grains, 10 for EMS Children School Lakweme and 12 for missionaries in Gombe DCC. Ask the Lord to reward them and to increase grace on them also.

SATURDAY 9TH Praise God for the payment of Rev. Kanawa’s accommodation in Niger Republic by ECWA Wuse 2, Abuja Nigeria. Ask the Lord to bless this church for their commitment to ECWA/EMS mission in Niger Republic.

WEEK TWO FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS

But He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.” Luke 4:43

SUNDAY 10TH EMS MANAGEMENT Continue to pray for protection and favor for EMS Management Team as they consult people and organizations for partnership and support of EMS.

MONDAY 11TH EMS BOARD MEMBERS Praise God for His sustaining grace on EMS board members through the 1st quarter of the year. Ask that they enjoy sound health and safety in all their trips in this month.

TUESDAY 12TH EMS SUPPORTERS Pray for God’s blessings on their families. Pray for their own spiritual lives, that they would grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ. Pray that they would be encouraged and supported in any area of their needs. Pray that their own lives would reflect the gospel to those around them.

WEDNESDAY 13TH ECWA EXECUTIVES Pray that the ECWA EXECUTIVE will be committed to the making of faithful disciples and raising quality leaders rather than seeking prosperity and numerical growth; also pray that they will stay committed to the Great Commission.

THURSDAY 14TH ECWA MINISTERS/STAKEHOLDERS Ask the Lord to grant ECWA Ministers/Stakeholders a repentant spirit so they may be an instrument that ushers in God’s blessing for the church and this nation.

FRIDAY 15TH EMS MUSLIM OUTREACH UNIT Pray that the Christian youths in Nigeria will go back to the ancient landmark to experience Christ afresh. Ask God to fill their hearts with the knowledge of His glory and give them a zeal for strategic missions to the unreached. Ask the Lord to increase strength on Rev. Dr. Shaba Adams, the coordinator of this unit, as he prepares the 2019 prayer booklet.

SATURDAY 16TH FAR NORTH – KATSINA DCC Ask the Lord to grant wisdom to EMS to raise new supporters and donors in this region.

  • The EMS missionary at Miga is living in Jahu, which is far from the church; it is about 32 Kilometers away. He is in dire need of a motorcycle to meet up with the challenging ministry needs.
  • Ask the Lord to grant wisdom on all ministers in this region to foster a good working relationship between EMS and the DCCs in the region.

WEEK THREE FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS

But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who examines our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 2:4

SUNDAY 17TH EMS HOUSE OF HOPE Appreciate God for sustaining the children in all the homes under “EMS HOUSE OF HOPE” – GIDAN BEGE around the country and for provision of their school needs. Pray for the grace of God to abound on the staff there to bring the children up in the way of the Lord.

MONDAY 18TH CENTRAL REGION – GARKI Praise God for 20 new EMS supporters in this region. Ask the Lord to grant them grace and provisions to allow them to stay committed to supporting the work of EMS.

TUESDAY 19TH FAR NORTH WEST REGION- KEBBI Ask the Lord to intervene over the security challenge faced by Maikujeri Mission Station Zamfara, which has resulted in the residents vacating the community. As a result, the missionary has been relocated to a new mission station, which for security reasons is not mentioned here. Ask the Lord to grant wisdom on the missionary as he begins work in this new station.

WEDNESDAY 20TH NORTH WEST REGION – KADUNA Pray for the protection of missionaries and other Christian workers, particularly in areas where it is dangerous to preach the Gospel. Pray also for wisdom and fresh anointing from the Holy Spirit for the new Regional Coordinator, Rev. Yahaya Bungule, to serve. Pray that ministers of the Gospel in Kaduna, especially ECWA ministers will develop divine love for the unreached.

THURSDAY 21ST MID CENTRAL REGION- KAGORO Appreciate God for His grace and protection upon the Regional Coordinator and the missionaries in this region with their families. Ask Him to renew their strength and help them to achieve their annual goals. Pray for all that they need to remain in His will this year and beyond.

FRIDAY 22ND EMS SOUTH NORTH WEST REGION Ask God to protect missionaries in this new region with their families and to grant them boldness, wisdom and utterance to mobilize the churches under this region for missions support.

SATURDAY 23RD SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION – JALINGO Pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the missionaries working among unreached people groups in the region. Pray for an increase in their love and passion for the work. Pray that their faith will remain firm and that tent-making will not be a distraction to them.

WEEK FOUR FOCUS ON CROSS-BORDERS MISSION FIELDS

MONDAY 25TH BENIN REPUBLIC Praise God for-the progress of the ministry in Benin Republic!

  • Praise God for the intervention regarding the long-awaited issue of unauthorized church land in Benin Republic. The issue has been resolved to the glory of God.
  • Pray for God’s provision for the support of one of Revd. Amos’ disciples who has volunteered to stay in Aglansa, a targeted area for the mission work.
  • Pray that God will provide for EMS of ECWA so that more missionaries can be sent to Benin Republic.

TUESDAY 26TH ECWA MALI Plead with God to remove every barrier keeping some Malians from accepting Christ.

  • Pray that the people will fully understand that they must forsake all other gods if they desire to call Jesus “Lord”.
  • Keep praying along with us for the 5000 bags of grains project provision among the 21 Dogon villages (not enough rains and the communal crisis had stopped many from going to their farms).
  • Keep praying for the 26 children who said the salvation prayer on 2/12/18, in Mali to understand God’s complete package of salvation and keep them safe from enemy attacks and strong when faced with persecution.

WEDNESDAY 27TH GAMBIAPraise God for a new convert from Senegal’s border who is a custom officer through the outreach of Pastor Francis Mingou and his team. The team also showed the Jesus film in Touba, Senegal and 17 people gave their lives to Christ!!! Thank God and ask HIm to sustain them in faith.

THURSDAY 28TH ECWA REPUBLIC OF GHANA Praise God for a fruitful follow-up program among the converts in Northern Ghana by Pastor Simon Danasai; ask the Lord to increase upon him discernment as he disciples these new converts.

  • The church in Tamale is experiencing a good turnout of believers as about 80 people now meet to fellowship as a church to the glory of God. Ask the Lord to sustain this growth and to open doors of resources for this young growing church to have its own structure. The house where they meet to worship no longer accommodates them!

FRIDAY 29TH ECWA NIGER REPUBLIC Pray for the completion process of the registration of ECWA Niger Republic.

  • Pray for Pastor & Mrs. Lawrence Nuhu serving at Kukan Kwadl, Niger Republic to be fruitful as they reach out to the nationals/indigenous people in Jesus’ name.

SATURDAY 30TH ECWA ZAMBIA Praise God for the take-off of a new prayer house in Kafuwe Township near Lusaka; ask for grace on the missionary as they put up strategies to ensure this mission station stands.

  • Ask that God should give the Zambian field indigenous volunteers who are patient and have a willing heart to serve God.

SUNDAY 31ST ECWA MALAWI Praise God for the efforts of the Fellowship Bible Church (FBC), U.S.A in their partnership with ECWA Malawi and for the series of trainings, materials and visits they often embark on to ensure its sustenance. Ask that the Lord will provide the Malawi field with a bus which will cost N3.5million Naira.

FRIDAY 1ST
Praise God for His sustaining grace and mercies that have kept us through the 1st month of theyear. Let’s keep praying that the Gospel will accelerate and yield hundred-fold and that through us the knowledge of the glory of God will spread wide among men this year and beyond.

SATURDAY 2ND

Praise God for a fruitful ministry of Rev. Yusuf Gyari who retired last year in December; ask that God will grant him rest even as he considers new ministry opportunities.

Praise God for the provision of the sum of N400, 000 through the Wuse ii evangelism team for the purchase of a mission vehicle in the Republic of Togo. Ask for more of God’s grace and blessings on this donor.

WEDNESDAY 6TH
Praise God for the provision of a new motorcycle to Rev. Musa D. Mato by his supporter, Kano DCC Women’s Fellowship. Ask the Lord to bless the donors.

THURSDAY 7TH
Praise God for the family of Hassan in Niamey, Niger Republic, who gave their house to Rev. & Mrs. John Gada as a place for children to be discipled. Pray that food would be generously provided to feed the children meeting for the fellowship.

FRIDAY 8TH
Praise God for the provision of a pulpit, 10 plastic chairs and a banner with the church’s activities on it for ECWA Godomey, Benin Republic. Ask the Lord to bless the donors of these items.

SATURDAY 9TH
Praise God for the official inauguration program of SOUTH NORTH WEST REGION, the new EMS region. This new region is the 12th region of EMS. Ask the Lord to grant grace to Rev. Nehemiah Magaji, the new regional coordinator of this region, and the people he will be working with.

SUNDAY 10TH EMS MANAGEMENT

  • The EMS administrative office has embarked on a transfer of regional coordinators and an appointment of new ones.
  • Let’s not relent in praying for fresh grace, blessings, protection and daily strength upon the EMS Management Team as they work daily and travel to advocate Christ’s cause and provide leadership within Nigeria and abroad for the purpose of God’s mission around the world.

MONDAY 11TH EMS BOARD MEMBERS
Ask the Lord to help EMS board members to approach issues with an open, inquiring mind, free from prejudice, with their heart depending on the Holy Spirit for the strength to make hard decisions. Let’s not relent in asking the Lord to please keep EMS Board Members humble and dependent upon him to give them the perfect wisdom and direction that they need to strategize and advice EMS leadership on how to move the ministry forward.

TUESDAY 12TH EMS SUPPORTERS
Pray for God’s blessing on their families, as well as their own spiritualhealth. May our supporters grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for their own spiritual lives, that they would grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ. Pray that they would be encouraged and supported in any area of their needs. Pray that their own lives would reflect the gospel to those around them.

WEDNESDAY 13TH ECWA EXECUTIVES
Pray also for their pastoral work, that they would encourage and counsel the flock with wisdom and discernment. Pray for the stress they bear in their work and in carrying the weight of responsibility for our souls, that they would find rest in Christ. Pray that they would resist temptations to sin and depend wholly upon the grace of Christ.

THURSDAY 14TH
ECWA MINISTERS/STAKEHOLDERS Pray that they would preach the Word of truth, “beready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with complete patience and teaching” (2Timothy 4:2). Pray that they would faithfully be committed to the work. Pray that they would equip the saints for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12).

EMS MUSLIM OUTREACH UNIT Pray that all those who have been transferred and appointed will turn out very effective in their new mission field and also pray for wisdom and favor as they relate with people at different levels in the course of their work.

FRIDAY 15TH

Pray for the hearts of Muslim Background Believers, that they would increase in their passion to love others and share the gospel. Pray for MBBs to remain steadfast and unwavering in their faith.

SATURDAY 16TH FAR NORTH – KATSINA DCC
Pray for missionaries who are working and laboring in difficult terrains in this region. Ask the lord to shield, guide and defend them and their families from every evil in 2019.

WEEK THREE – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS

But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who examines our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 2:4

SUNDAY 17TH NORTH CENTRAL REGION – JOS

Ask the Lord to intervene over the recent attacks on Nding community which has resulted to the burning of churches by Fulani herdsmen. Let’s not relent in praying forthe safety of our missionaries, especially in places often targeted for attacks.

MONDAY 18TH CENTRAL REGION – GARKI

  • Ask the Lord to grant Rev. Gambo Ayuba, the new Central Regional Coordinator, the favor, wisdom and grace to put up effective mission strategies for successful ministry in his region.
  • Ask the Lord to raise for Himself more supporters/partners in Shiroro, Niger /Delta, and Suleja DCCs.
  • Pray for EMS projects in Taiyu, Mararaba, Kubaidnapa, Bataron Jatau in Shiroro DCC.

TUESDAY 19TH FAR NORTH – KATSINA

  • Praise God for the life of Mr. Micah Yakubu in Katsina DCC who has committed himself to partner with EMS. Pray for the Lord to provide for him to continue in his partnership.
  • Pray also for a financial opening for the building projects at Gidan Soda, Gidan Boka, Gidan Suhu and Dandume mission stations.

WEDNESDAY 20TH NORTH WEST REGION – KADUNA
Ask the Lord to grant Rev. Bungule Yahaya, the new North West Regional Coordinator, the favor, wisdom and grace to put up effective mission strategies for ministry in his region.

THURSDAY 21ST MID CENTRAL REGION – KAGORO
Ask the Lord to sustain Ungwan Mamuda mission station, which has been weaned into a local church.

FRIDAY 22ND EMS SOUTH NORTH WEST REGION
Praise God for the success of the inauguration of this new region on the 9th of this month. Ask the Lord to grant grace to Rev. Nehemiah Magaji, the new Regional Coordinator of this region, to be able to coordinate this new region and also bring new influence and mission fulfillment.

SATURDAY 23RD SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION – JALINGO
Ask the Lord to grant wisdom to the new Taraba DCC executives and the new regional coordinator of this region; ask that they be mission-minded in carrying out the administrative responsibilities.

SUNDAY 24TH

CROSS BORDERS CRITICAL NEED EMS is still trusting God for the sum of about N854M that is urgently needed for various critical Cross Borders Projects. Please continue to pray for this need.

NIGER REPUBLIC Pray for missionaries in this country; many of them are currently faced with a food shortage due to unstable rainfall. Rev. Kanawa in Maradi, Niger Republic is planning a program for missionaries and their wives; ask the Lord to grant provisions to that effect.

MONDAY 25TH BENIN REPUBLIC

  • Pray for God’s provision for the support of Rev. Amos Disciple who has volunteered to stay in Aglansa, a targeted area for mission work.
  • Keep praying for provisions of funds for the sponsorship of Thibaut & Assogba Fami, who have decided to go to seminary with their families.

TUESDAY 26TH ECWA MALI
Praise God for bringing two more candidates for ECWA Mali to be prepared for theological training. Hamidou Guirou, Ezekiel Tessougue and Tenou Coro are among the university students studying English that we have been helping. Pray for funds to continue their theological training.

  • Keep praying along with us for 5,000 bags of grain; this project is for the 21 Dogon villages (not enough rain and the communal crisis stopped many from going to their farms).
  • Keep praying for the 26 children who said the salvation prayer on 2/12/18 in Mali to understand God’s complete package of salvation and to keep them safe and strong when faced with persecution.

WEDNESDAY 27TH GAMBIA
Apart from the theological seminary opened by Rev. Tanimu and his wife Favor- Tamar, an Early Childhood Development Center has also been opened, which God is using greatly in reaching more people, especially in the Barra community of The Gambia.

THURSDAY 28TH ECWA REPUBLIC OF GHANA
Ask the Lord to grant wisdom to our missionaries in Ghana for a good relationship with Ghanaians. Pray for the nationals to understand the vision and mission of ECWA and to be able to work according to the ministry standards.

THURSDAY 1ST
Praise God for sustaining EMS as an organization, protection and provision for missionaries and for safety in all our travels through the month of October.

FRIDAY 2ND
Praise God for sparing the life of our missionary, Pas. Adams J. Abba, who was attacked by armed robbers; they stole his laptop and other valuables. Let’s keep praying for the safety of our missionaries on the field.

SATURDAY 3RD
Praise God for the community nursery and primary school that was handed over to EMS by the Oseni community in Mid Central Region for proper running. Ask the Lord to grant EMS grace to manage the school holistically and to provide godly, creative teachers to run the school.

SUNDAY 4TH
Praise God for the provision of another motorcycle to EMS for Rev. Daglo, the missionary in Angwan Jatau mission station, EMS Central Region. The bike was donated by the ECWA Central Church. A group of passionate widows in ECWA Wuse ii also donated four generators to our missionaries in Central Region. Ask the Lord to bless these donors.

Pray that the ECWA President, Vice President, ECWA General Secretary, Assistant General Secretary and treasurer will be spiritually prepared at all times for the work and war they are sure to face on a daily basis.

THURSDAY 8TH ECWA MINISTERS/STAKEHOLDERS

  • Pray for ECWA members, pastors, and stakeholders to have strength, growth, and success in fulfilling God’s disciple-making mandate in their life.
  • Pray for the Holy Spirit’s direction, sanctification, and governance in their work so that the Gospel of Christ may be preached in Truth, truly received, and truly followed in all places.

FRIDAY 9TH MUSLIM BACKGROUND CONVERTS

  • Pray for the converts/believers who have been rejected by family and friends. Pray that God would surround them with a new Christian “family” who will love and support them emotionally and physically.
  • Pray for God to be an advocate for women who are socially vulnerable or have lost the custody of their children because of their Christian faith.

SATURDAY 10TH NORTH WEST REGION – KADUNA

  • Praise God for the weaning of Boham Prayer House to a full-fledged church; pray that God will grant this church a self-sustaining grace.
  • Ask the Lord to comfort the families of Mrs. Laurence Adeoye, an EMS supporter, and the family of Pas. Robert Dangombe, our missionary at Kubacha DCC, who both passed on to glory last month.

WEEK THREE – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS

SUNDAY 11TH CENTRAL REGION GARKI DCC

Praise God for the 53 EMS missionaries that were trained on “Evangelism and Follow-up” by the ECWA Goodnews Maitama Church in collaboration with Richard Gardiner’s Ministry. Ask the Lord to bless the trainers and for the missionaries to put into effective use all that they learnt from the training.

MONDAY 12TH FAR NORTH – KATSINA DCC

  • We give God the glory for answered prayers over the return of animals stolen from Adamu Garba in Jigawa DCC. By the grace of God, the animals were returned exactly as prayed for. Praise the Lord!
  • Pray for Mr. Yohanna Musa, one of our supporter in Katsina DCC, he is seriously sick; pray for his quick recovery.

TUESDAY 13TH MANAGEMENT

  • Pray for safety for all management staff who will be meeting today for the second to the last management meeting holding today at EMS headquarters in Jos; also pray for the success of the meeting.
  • Let’s not relent in praying for more wisdom on EMS Management Team as they make decisions affecting the Head Office, Regional, DCC, and various levels in the ministry.

WEDNESDAY 14th MID CENTRAL REGION- KAGORO

  • Praise God for ECWA 2 Kafanchan who added 4 missionaries to the 1 they were supporting (they now support 5). We thank God for the Women’s Fellowship G/Waya DCC who also added 1 more to the 1 they were supporting (they now support 2)
  • Pray for the willingness to continue the support of these missionaries.

THURSDAY 15TH NORTH CENTRAL REGION-JOS

  • Pray for the following missionaries who are retiring this year. Rev. Shehu Yakubu in Bauchi DCC 15/12/2018, Rev. Dachung Pam in Bukuru DCC February 2019 and Pst. Dauda Madaki in Yelwa DCC.
  • Pray for Pst. Samaila A. Kure whose wedding is coming on 16/12/2018 in Miango DCC.
  • Pray for some of our coordinators who are in need of motorcycles for effective ministry in Miango DCC, Toro DCC, and Zabolo DCC.

FRIDAY 16TH SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION, JALINGO
Ask the Lord to grant provision for the Yamel DCC mission conference which commenced today, 16-17th; also pray for safety for all who will be traveling to attend the programme.

SATURDAY 17TH.NORTH EAST REGION – GOMBE

  • Praise God for sparing the family of Rev. Mohammadu Adamu of Tangale DCC, during the armed robbers attack in Garwa village on Sept 6. Although they did away with some of their valuables, the Lord spared their lives.
  • Our missionary Pastor Yusuf Isah had an accident on a motorcycle; pray for a complete recovery.

WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON OTHER EMS MISSION ARMS
“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life and the one who is wise saves lives.” Prov. 11:30

SUNDAY 18th EMS HOUSE OF HOPE
Thank God – we have successfully admitted 15 new boys and 9 new girls into the ministry. We have identified drug addicts all over. We have started a new ministry to reach them called “Celebrate Recovery”; pray with us for God’s direction and success.

MONDAY 19th EMS CHILDREN/MISSION FIELD SCHOOLS

  • Praise God for the 186 children that have been admitted to EMS Children School for the 2018/2019 Academic Session. Pray that these kids will recognize their need for a vibrant academic commitment and intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus.
  • Pray that many unbelieving children in the schools will encounter the good Father.

TUESDAY 20TH EMS CHILDREN/MISSION FIELD SCHOOLS
Ask the Lord for a financial opening to missionary parents and other parents struggling to pay their children’s school fees.
Pray for increased wisdom and grace for effective teaching in all EMS Children and Mission Field Schools.

WEDNESDAY 21ST EMS SECURITY PERSONNEL
Considering the increased security threat posed to Christian organizations, especially in this last quarter of the year, pray for our security personnel, that they would be vigilant, diligent, and sensitive to any threats to EMS staff and facilities.

THURSDAY 22ND EMS TRAVEL UNIT
Ask the Lord to guide and protect EMS drivers from accidents and keep them free from harm on their journeys. Pray that He would support them with His grace when they are tired and also help them to be patient in any trouble which may come their way. Ask that He keep them always mindful of His presence and love.

FRIDAY 23RD ECWA TV MINISTRY
Pray for ECWA TV Ministry for more financial support and for the Holy Spirit’s leading, as a lot of work is ongoing for the take-off of this very important ministry.

SATURDAY 24TH EMS MEDICAL UNIT

  • Pray for God’s healing on: Pst. Makayi Maijinkai, Mrs. Jock Waziri, Mrs. Jude Marfun, Pst. Phenihas Philemon, Rev. Shehu Yakubu, Rev. Marikina Galadima, Mrs. Titus Dangu and Rev. Samuel John.
  • Ask the Lord to protect missionary doctors and nurses and all He has called them to care for the sick and prevent disease in various mission fields. Pray that He strengthens them in body and soul as He blesses their work of their hands.

WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON CROSS-BORDERS MISSION FIELDS

SUNDAY 25TH ECWA TOGO

  • Praise God for the successful take-off of ECWA THEOLOGICAL SCHOOL TOGO last month.
  • Pray for God’s provision for the purchase of church lands of ECWA Togo for the following mission fields: Zanguera at 7.5M, Notse at 3M, Pagouda at N400, 000, and University at 20M.
  • Pray for the provision of at least 5 motorcycles for the missionaries that are working in the interior regions.

MONDAY 26TH ECWA ZAMBIA
Thank God with us for two new volunteers to serve as church planters. Pray that God would open a way to fund their ministry by raising supporters.

TUESDAY 27TH ECWA MALI

  • Praise God for the new converts made in Mali this month by the Amahs, pray also for them to abide in faith regardless of hardship.
  • Praise God that we are almost the completion to renew the ECWA Mali church registration.
  • Also thank God for the healing of Rev. & Mrs. Amah’s children from some terrible skin rashes, as a result of the scorching heat.
  • Foundation laying process of the permanent site of ECWA Mali has stopped for lack of cash, please pray for God’s provision for the progress of the work.

WEDNESDAY 28TH BENIN REPUBLIC

  • Praise God for the successful three days outreach program by Rev Amos Olugbenga which led to many fruits. Their projector got burnt during the programme. Pray that God will provide the way to fix or replace it.
  • Praise God for His provision to enable Rev. Amos Olugbenga to complete the construction of a place of worship on the purchased church land. They were able to build it from support they received from friends and family; ask that God will bless the donors.
  • Pray that God will provide the manpower needed to start a prayer house in Aglansa, Benin Republic.

THURSDAY 29TH NIGER REPUBLIC

  • Pray for all the sick missionaries in Niger Republic, especially Pastor Simon Kali, who is suffering from a liver condition.
  • Pray for missionaries facing persecution from Muslims and Pagans in their various fields in Niger Republic to remain steadfast in their faith in Christ Jesus.
  • Pray for our missionaries who are searching for a quality school to place their children.

FRIDAY 30TH ECWA CHAD REPUBLIC

  • The need of clean water in some of our mission stations in Chad Republic cannot be over emphasized enough. Pray for God’s provision of the said needs in those needy communities. This prayer request comes frequently from our missionaries.
  • Pray against the fear and the worship of evil spirits, the practice of all kinds of magic in Chad Republic, which is affecting the growth of some of the churches.

Praise God for the safe arrival of Rev. John Tortuman and his family in Ghana, who are taking over the ministry from the Nadabos who have returned to Nigeria safely. Ask the Lord to grant ministry grace on both the Tortumans as they continue from where the Nadabos stopped and for the Nadabos as they pick up another ministry here in Nigeria.

Pray for the success of the EMS Mission Sunday which is being observed by all ECWA churches across the globe today. Ask the Lord to stir the hearts of men to give generously towards the vision of ECWA to win all by the propagation of the Gospel.

MONDAY 8TH SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION

  • Pray for the ongoing plans to wean the following mission stations before the year runs out: M/Baissa, Kungana, Ussa, Isukudi and Ungwan yarima Mission Stations.
  • Pray that peace and stability will be restored fully in Taraba so that those who fled the attacks can return to their homes, farm lands and places of worship.
  • Let’s not relent in praying for God’s continuous protection over converts in Gaji Mission Station who are being persecuted by traditional worshipers; these converts have also been stripped of their farmlands because of their faith.

TUESDAY 9TH EMS MANAGEMENT TEAM

  • Pray for safety for all management members as they travel to attend their monthly meeting, which holds today at the EMS Headquarters in Jos.
  • Ask that God will grant satisfaction and joy to all EMS Management members in the performance of their work.
  • Pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance during the meeting.

WEDNESDAY 10TH EMS BOARD MEMBERS
Pray that EMS board members may live worthy of God’s call on our lives. Ask that as they respond to that call, may they fulfill every purpose, every faith-filled act of service by God’s power. Ask that they be clothed in righteousness with hearts that sing for joy and delight greatly in God as they think and advice EMS on crucial ministry issues that will enhance our growth.

THURSDAY 11TH EMS SUPPORTERS
Ask the Lord to grant healing to all EMS supporters at every level who are currently suffering ill health. Pray that the Lord will increase upon all supporters the perseverance to stay committed to praying and giving for the work of missions and that God’s blessings will increase upon the work of their hands and on their families.

FRIDAY 12TH ECWA EXECUTIVES
Thank God for the servant heart of the ECWA EXECUTIVE. Ask that He keep them from losing heart when ministry gets tough. Ask the Good Father to help them prove faithful with the things He has entrusted to them. May the Spirit reveal the Father’s heart to them even more. May the Lord’s favor rest upon them. Pray that He keeps them open and honest before Him and help them to represent the truth plainly.

SATURDAY 13TH ECWA MINISTERS/STAKEHOLDERS
Pray that ECWA ministers and stakeholders at every leadership level wholeheartedly give their attention to prayer and ministry of the Word. Ask that God should keep them above reproach, devoted to their families, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable and able to teach.   • Ask the Lord to grant comfort to the family of our missionaries, Pas. Hussaini Yohanna and Pas. Dimas Yinguda who lost their sons last month.
  • Ask the Lord to provide funds to build worship places in Fapo, Koji, and Eforo mission stations.

MONDAY 15TH FAR NORTH WEST REGION

  • Pray that God will intervene over the recent natural disaster that occurred as a result of heavy downpour and wild wind which affected a good number of people in the far northern part of Nigeria.
  • Let’s continue to pray for the church in Zamfara State which is frequently attacked and thus unable to meet for regular services. Pray that the Christians would not be discouraged, but would stand firm in their faith with a soft heart for unbelievers.

TUESDAY 16TH NORTH WEST REGION – KADUNA

  • Praise God for the new EMS Mission Field School that was opened in Kigin Giri Mission Station with 70 kids as pioneering pupils.
  • Pray that God will grant grace on the missionary and the teachers and that He would provide what the school needs to thrive.
  • Pray that many unbelieving children in this community and their parents will encounter the Lord through this school ministry.

WEDNESDAY 17TH NORTH EAST REGION – GOMBE

  • Ask the Lord to grant comfort to the family of our missionary, Pas. Yakub Zaradi who lost their son last month.
  • Let’s keep praying for more of God’s grace and strength on Halima Audu who gave her life to Christ and has been facing a lot of persecution and hardship.

THURSDAY 18TH SOUTH EAST REGION
Ask the Lord to stir the hearts of many in this region to be willing to support the work. Ask the Lord to grant an opening for the provision of bikes for mission stations in need of mobility.

FRIDAY 19TH SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION
Ask the Lord to grant provision for the Yamel DCC mission conference that is hoped to be held November 16th, – 17th, 2018.

SATURDAY 20TH NORTH CENTRAL REGION-JOS
Ask the Lord to grant EMS supporters in this region open doors and grace to meet up with their commitments of sponsoring missionaries. Due to the decrease of support, we have outstanding arrears of N1, 662,421.

SUNDAY 21ST EMS CRISES RELIEF & PROJECT UNIT

  • Praise God for the success recorded in EMS efforts to reach out to needy individuals and communities in crisis.
  • Pray for Brother Mark Na’ah for God’s wisdom and protection as he mobilizes resources and travels to reach out to selected needed communities throughout this last quarter of the year.
  • Pray for pastors, churches and Non-Government Organizations that they would be equiped with all they need to bring aid to crisis-affected areas in Nigeria.

MONDAY 22ND EMS CHILDREN/MISSION FIELDS SCHOOL & EMS HOUSE OF HOPE

  • Pray that the students and pupils in EMS children/mission field school & EMS House of Hope will recognize their need for a vibrant and intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus.
  • Pray for God’s continued provision for needs of these schools. Pray also for the teachers, that they would remain steadfast in their spiritual walk, be renewed daily, and exemplify
    Christ in their daily lives.
  • Ask the Lord to grant more patience and wisdom to all the men and women who are caring for these kids.

TUESDAY 23RD MISSIONARY CHILDREN AROUND THE WORLD
Ask God to please cultivate in missionary children the ability to have true humility before Him and to show true humility before all. Ask God to cloth them with the virtue of compassion and may honesty and integrity be their crown and their protection.

WEDNESDAY 24TH EMS TRAVEL UNIT
Ask the Lord to guide and protect EMS drivers from accidents and keep them free from harm of any sort on their journeys this last quarter of the year. Pray that He would support them with His grace when they are tired and also help them to be patient in any trouble which may come their way. Ask that He keep them always mindful of His presence and love.

MONDAY 29TH EMS/ECWA TOGO MISSION FIELD

  • Pray for God to provide support of a borehole for both Tota Village and Kedjida Cope Villages which amounts to N150, 000 Naira each.
  • Pray for God’s provision for us to be able to build the mission church in Kaboli. The building cost is N2, 000,000.00.
  • Pray for God to provide at least 5 motorcycles for the missionaries that are working in the interior parts of Togo to enable them to work effectively.

TUESDAY 30TH ECWA KENYA

  • Pray for the growth of the ministry school that was started by Pst. & Mrs. Mutunga. Pray that this school will continuously serve as a platform by which many will be saved.
  • Pray that God will send workers to help plant churches in areas identified for church planting in Kenya.

WEDNESDAY 31TH ECWA ZAMBIA
By God’s grace, two volunteers have been found and have replaced the ones that withdrew their services from the Zambian field. Pray for the two volunteers that have given themselves to serve as church planters that God would use them for His glory. Pray that God would open a way of funding their ministry by raising supporters.

Last month, 29th July – 4th Aug, EMS successfully brought back some of it’s cross border missionary couples from their foreign mission fields for a week of fellowship with two of our EMS missionary friends from the U.S. Praise God for the safety granted to all who made it for the program, for His provisions towards hosting the program, and for the success of the entire event.

SUNDAY 2ND

Praise God for safety granted to EMS management staff who came for the management meeting on the 14th of August, 2018. Thank God for granting wisdom and discernment as they make decisions.

Praise God for the success of the program held in Maradi, Niger Republic by ECWA Wuse 2 in collaboration with Sport Friends Nigeria. Pray that the program will yield lasting spiritual results in the life of all the participants.

WEDNESDAY 5TH

Praise God for the seventeen mission stations opened as local churches in Chad Republic. They are Gounou Ndolo, Koutoun, Bongor, Guidimi, Kolobeye, Guelende, Ambata, Ngonba, Goira, Figure 1, Djogogor, Missire, Mamina, Dagadla, Kaourang Kouzoudoum, Guelende 2
and Koundoul. Please pray for their growth and for the effectiveness of the missionaries in charge of these churches.

THURSDAY 6TH

Praise God for His grace and faithfulness in the lives of our missionaries in Zambia, especially for our prayer house in Luanshiya, for enthusiasm to preach the gospel and receptivity in the people.

FRIDAY 7TH

Praise God for His provision of funds to EMS House of Hope with which they were able to visit their targeted IDP camps in Bokkos LGA in Jos, Nigeria. The visit was of great success and the brethren who received gifts from EMS House of Hope were very encouraged.

SATURDAY 8TH

Praise God for the completion of the pastorium in Makundu, Central Region by Good News Gwagwalada. To the glory of God the missionary has moved into the building

Praise God for the safety granted to EMS Management Team to Jos for management meeting holding today. Ask the Lord to give them unity and decisiveness in making wise choices as they lead EMS.

Pray that the Holy Spirit would fill ECWA E.E. and pastors with the love of God, a desire for purity, and also purge their hearts of resentments towards each other.

MIDEAST REGION-LAFIA

Pray for Pastor Benedict John in Kwara Prayer House. He is suffering from a spiritual attack from a local evil spirit called GAJIMARE; the pastor is currently sick as a result of these attacks and is in dire need of our prayers.

FRIDAY 14TH

CENTRAL REGION GARKI DCC

  • Ask the Lord to grant provision for clean drinking water in Kuseki, Pasali and Tungan Auta communities where our missionaries are

Pray that God will intervene in our Sulbawa Mission station in Mina, Nigeria, where the village head is refusing to grant us the purchase of a land for the building of a worship place. He has also instructed that the temporary shade built by the missionary for worship should be removed.

Ask the Lord to grant us wisdom as we plan to relocate our boys’ transition house to an environment that will be away from the city’s distractions, for more creative and intentional discipleship.

Two Local Church Councils in Gwol DCC of this region with one mission station in Jiri, Miango DCC have been closed down due to recent attacks by the
Fulani herdsmen. Let’s not relent in praying for God’s intervention on these re-occurring attacks, especially on the church.

TCHAD REPUBLIC

The need of clean water in some of our mission stations cannot be emphasized enough. Pray for God’s provision of these needs in the needy communities. This is the prayer request that come frequently from our missionaries.

Pray for the plan of the urban mission, especially in Ndjamena. A land has been spotted in the center of the town at the cost of 60.000.000Fcfa which is the equivalent to 120 USD Pray for God’s provisions to secure the land.

  • Laying of the foundation for the permanent site of ECWA Mali has stopped for lack of cash; Let’s keep praying for open doors for the completion of this

SUNDAY 30TH

CHAD REPUBLIC

Pray against the cultural initiation (juju worship) that is in the increase. The juju worship is highly valued among many of the Chadian ethnic groups. Their tradition is that every young man must pass through the cultural initiation in order to be admitted to the rank of the matured men. This is a barrier to the penetration of the Gospel among Banda and God ethnic groups where our missionaries are working. Pray for God to break such power and bring about the liberation of his people in Jesus’ mighty name.

Praise God for His grace on Pas. Dawuda Illiya who was able to convey the donated books for the Gambian Seminary library to the Gambia and has also safely returned to his mission field in Burkina Faso.

WEDNESDAY 4TH
Praise the Lord for the success of the North East Regional Mission Conference that was held last month. Thank God for the safety He granted all the missionaries and EMS leaders who attended the conference.

THURSDAY 5TH
Praise God for a successful outreach organized by a team of five (5) pastors at Koukan Kwaddi, Niger Republic. Praise God for the building of a place of worship there, which was sponsored by ECWA Sokoto DCC.

FRIDAY 6TH
Praise God for the success of the outreach Rev. & Mrs. Amos Olugbenga and the church in Benin Republic held in the month of April 2018. Acknowledge God for His provision for the purchase of the second church land in Cotonou, Benin republic, where the aforementioned missionaries station as they have started using the land for their church activities.

Ask the Lord to grant comfort to the families of Pastor Ayuba Ketos and Pastor Penias Yila, EMS missionaries whose children passed away in the month of May 2018.

ECWA Burkina Faso has the potential to grow to become a leading church in the country by the grace of God. Pray for the involvement of the nationals in the work of EMS.
Pray for God to meet the needs of this field, ranging from church land to worship places.

MONDAY 23RD
ECWA BENIN REPUBLIC
Pray for God’s provision for the rent of the EMS Porto Novo worship place.
Pray for God’s provision to enable Rev. & Mrs. Sodji to start a new field at Houeto, near Calavi University. A temporary land has been given to them to start, but they need about two hundred and fifty thousand (N250, 000) to build a batcher.
Pray for Rev. Sodji’s three disciples that will be starting their theological training this year by the Grace of God; pray for financial support to pursue their training to its completion in Jesus’ name.

TUESDAY 24TH
ECWA MALI CHURCH
Pray for financial open doors to enable us to complete the church building projects in Mali.
Pray for Rev. & Mrs. Amah’s school ministry programs which are suffering attacks from the enemy whereby few students are able to complete the program.
Pray for more Soul-Winning Strategies this year for the Amahs in Bamako, Mali.

WEDNESDAY 25TH
ECWA NIGER REPUBLIC
Pray for a family at the Niger city church who are still not showing commitment to serving God faithfully, that the Lord will convince them and liberate them from the grip of the devil in Jesus’ name.
Pray for those that have turned away from the faith, for the Lord to bring them back and grant them the grace to stand regardless of any opposition.
Pray for those who claim to be Christians for the sake of materialism and selfish ambitions, that GOD will open their eyes and hearts to be genuine and committed believers.

ECWA BENIN REPUBLIC
Pray for God to provide the needed manpower for the starting of a prayer house in Aglansa by Rev. & Mrs. Amos Olugbenga.
Pray for a good working relationship among our missionaries in Cotonou that will foster the progress of His work on our mission field in Jesus’ Mighty name.

ECWA ZAMBIA
Pray for Mufurila Council Area of Malawi; it is the next targeted area of the Kuzasuwats. A volunteer has been identified who is willing to pioneer the work; pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

ECWA BURKINA FASO
Pray for God’s provision for a place of worship for ECWA Ouagadougou.
Pray for God’s provision to enable the employment of two of Pastor Dauda lliya’s disciples (Lare P. Pakindambe Abraham and Jean Mari) in Ouagadougou.
Pray for the healing of some of the members of ECWA Ouagadougou (Madam Keto Amavi and Madam Jean Mari) who had an accident with a motorcycle.

SATURDAY 28TH
ECWA CAMEROON
Pray for God to provide roofing materials to the mission stations who have built their churches but yet to roof them.
Pray for the spiritual growth of all the new converts in Cameroon.
Pray for God’s provision for the needs of all the missionaries serving in Cameroon in Jesus’ Holy name.

Praise God for His sustaining grace on EMS as a Ministry, for providing for us financially, materially and for granting us safety in all our travels.

  • Praise God for graciously answering our prayers and making it possible for the ECWA Television Ministry to be inaugurated today. Pray for the success of the programme and ask the Lord to grant grace to our staff to be able to work effectively, especially in using this platform to reach out to many.
SATURDAY 2ND

Pray for the success of the installation of ECWA new executives members today and also pray for God’s increasing wisdom on Rev. Stephen Panya Bab as the new ECWA president, and on Rev. Alex T. Ibi, the new ECWA AGS.

Praise God for the preparations to start ECWA International Theological Seminary in The Gambia (EITSG).

  • Praise God for the donation of thousands of books from a missionary in Burkina Faso towards the Gambian Seminary

Praise the Lord for 26 new converts in our various stations in the Mid-East Region and all the churches that went out for Evangelism at LACINTA, BAKIN KOGI, ANGWAN TAKI, and DNAWALA. Ask the Lord to grant all new converts spiritual growth and perseverance in the faith.

TUESDAY 5TH

Praise God for the survival of Mrs. Abednego, the wife of an EMS missionary, and the son of Pastor Nrize O. Saba, another EMS missionary, who were both bitten by snakes. Ask the Lord to grant them perfect feeling. Also keep praying for our missionaries for safety, especially those working in rural areas.

WEDNESDAY 6TH

Praise God for the success of Rev. & Mrs. Amah’s official meeting with YWAM Mali, whereby they finally agreed to partner in two areas: (1) Urban and Rural Evangelism (2) Children’s Ministry.

  • Praise God for Pastor & Mrs. Sherry Thomas of SIM Mali who sponsored Rev. & Mrs. Amah to attend a French Leadership Training, which took place in Bamako from 5th – 11th May, 2018.
THURSDAY 7TH

Praise God for His blessings on Rev. & Mrs. Likita Adamu and their members in Niamey, Niger Republic. We also thank God for giving the brethren courage to face the current challenging persecution in some parts of Niger with determination.

FRIDAY 8TH

Praise God for saving Peter Mwaura, who was once a drunkard, but has found Christ in Utawala ECWA Church, Kenya. Praise God for using the Mutungas to make a positive impact in the Utawala community. Thank God for the numeric and spiritual growth in the church and the mission school.

SATURDAY 9TH

Praise God for the progress of preparation towards the take-off of ECWA THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY TOGO which by the grace of God begins September 2018.

WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS

EMS MANAGEMENT TEAM: Pray for the fruitfulness of Rev. Bakari Bunga, the EMS administrator, in his trip to the USA; ask the Lord to grant EMS favor as he relates our needs to groups and individual mission support teams. Pray that the other staff at EMS will experience safe travel and health protection while on mission trips throughout this month.

MONDAY 11TH

EMS BOARD MEMBERS: Ask the Lord to protect EMS board members with their families from every form of evil; may the Lord grant them safety in all their travels and favor in all their God-honoring endeavors.

TUESDAY 12TH

EMS SUPPORTERS: Pray that EMS Supporters will continue to have their needs met and remain committed to their ministry in giving and praying for the work of missions.

WEDNESDAY 13TH

ECWA MINISTERS/STAKEHOLDERS: Pray for ECWA members, pastors, and stakeholders to have strength, growth, and success in fulfilling God’s disciple-making mission in their context.

THURSDAY 14TH

ECWA EXECUTIVES: Pray that the ECWA president, vice president, general secretary, assistant general secretary, and treasurer will be spiritually prepared at all times for the work and warfare they are sure to face on a daily basis.

FRIDAY 15TH

CENTRAL REGION GARKI DCC: Praise God for the success and fruitfulness of the mission outreach that was held in Basange land in April; ask the Lord to grant grace to the 388 people who gave their lives to Christ to keep growing in faith. Pray for the two missionaries that have been sent to Eroko and Koji, for the Lord to grant them ministry strategies as they disciple converts and reach out to other communities in Basange land.

SATURDAY 16TH

NORTH WEST REGION – KADUNA DCC: ECWA Goodnews Narayi High Cost has been a very strong and committed EMS supporter; currently they support 30 EMS missionaries. Recently, the church has been faced with some financial challenges; ask the Lord to break through these financial barriers and allow the church to continue to give generously.

SUNDAY 17TH

NORTH EAST REGION- GOMBE DCC: Praise God for the successful mission outreach carried out with ECWA Clinic at Ganjin; this outreach was fruitful as ninety seven (97) people gave their lives to Christ and seventy seven (77) people rededicated their lives to Christ. Ask the Lord to grant these converts the grace to grow in faith and to remain faithful at all times.

MONDAY 18th

MID CENTRAL REGION: Ask the Lord to stir the hearts of many in this region to be willing to support the works of mission.

TUESDAY 19th

MID EAST REGION-LAFIA DCC: Pray for TOTO local government that has been engulfed in tribal crises with the undertone of religion; pray for the Bassa people, who are mostly Christians, this fight has greatly affected 6 churches in the following locations: SEGYE Lee, UGYA Lee, DAGGI Lee, UMASHA Lee, SARDAUNA Lee, TOTO Lee.

WEDNESDAY 20TH

FAR NORTH WEST REGION: Ask the Lord to grant grace to the coordinators and missionaries in this region as they strategize on how to reach the following targeted areas: Yauri, Bagado, and Magajiya.

THURSDAY 21ST:

SOUTH EAST-ABA DCC: Thank God for how He is opening doors for the ‘’True Gospel” to penetrate among the Igbos in our already existing Mission Fields and other targeted unreached areas. Pray for Rev. Egelonu Obinali, the South EAST Regional Coordinator, and the missionaries working under him for creativity to be able to contextualize and preach the Word of God without any form of syncretism.

FRIDAY 22ND

FAR NORTH REGION-KATSINA DCC: Pray for God’s increasing blessings and divine protection on all ECWA churches and mission stations in this region.

SATURDAY 23RD

SOUTH NORTH EAST-TARABA DCC: Praise God for His sustaining grace on this region under the coordination of Rev. Nehemiah T. Magaji and his DCC coordinators. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s visitation and divine protection as they engage in mission activities in various targeted areas in this region.

WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON CROSS-BORDERS’ MISSION FIELDS

SUNDAY 24TH

ECWA MALI CHURCH:

  • Pray for the provision of the payment of the Amah’s house rent in Mali which expired 5th May, 2018. The House Agency will not accept continual payment without the agent fee of 75,000 cfa with the usual two months’ deposit
MONDAY 25TH

ECWA NIGER REPUBLIC:

  • Praise God for blessing Rev. & Mrs. Likita Adamu with the church in Niger with good health in spite of the intensity of the heat, all of them are doing very
  • Pray for one of Rev. & Mrs. Likita Adamu’s outstanding member’s, by name Moussa, who returned to his village, remarried, and converted back to Islam. Ask that the Lord will restore him back to faith in Jesus’ mighty Name.
TUESDAY 26TH

ECWA BENIN REPUBLIC:

  • Praise and appreciate God for the success of the outreach at Rev. & Mrs. Amos Olugbenga’s church in Benin Republic, which was held in April
  • Thank God for His provision for the purchase of the second church land in Cotonou, Benin republic where Rev. Mrs. Amos Olugbenga station. They have already been able to use the land for church
  • Pray for God’s provision to enable a temporary place of worship to be erected at the purchased land for Rev. & Mrs. Amos Olugbenga’s church in Benin
WEDNESDAY 27TH:

ECWA BURKINA FASO: 

  • Thank God for keeping and sustaining the lives of our missionaries and members of their churches in Burkina Faso and for the healing of Pastor Thomas Joshua’s wife who was very ill.
  • Pray for the leadership of EESIM at Cachanri, Burkina Faso to have a mission mind. Pray for the men of Gurmanche to embrace the Gospel; most of them allow their wives to go to the church, but themselves do not have time for it.
  • Pray for God to provide a motorcycle for Pastor Thomas Joshua to facilitate his mission work at Cachanri, Burkina Faso. The need for a motorcycle has become critically urgent in this mission field as he has had to borrow a motorcycle to go to the interior villages and sometimes has to walk a very long distance to

ECWA CAMEROON: 

  • Praise God for five (5) mission stations that have built their churches; we are trusting God to provide for the roofing of those
  • Let us continue to pray for the challenge of church land for ECWA Yaoundé church in Cameroon. The church has been displaced on several occasions due to lack of a permanent worship

ECWA REPUBLIC OF TOGO:

  • Pray for God to provide support of boreholes for Tota Village and Kedjida Cope, which will amount to N150, 000 naira each, totaling N300, 000. It is indeed a dire and urgent

THURSDAY 3RD Praise God for the success of EMS Board meeting that was held on the 27th of April, 2018. Thank God for the life of our staff Late Rev. Monday Zock who has gone to be with the Lord on 29th April, 2018. Pray for comfort for the family and the entire church of God and the success of the burial today.
FRIDAY 4TH Praise God for the provision of generator in Benin Republic for the purpose of evangelism.
SATURDAY 5TH Praise God for the victory over demonic power in Burkina Faso and for successful ministry of Pastor & Mrs. Dauda lIiya.
SUNDAY 6TH Praise God for His provision of six wells in six of Tchad’s mission stations namely: (Moulkou, Rady, Djouman, Molom, Guelende and Koutoun) through the assistance of EMS partner in Tchad. Let us continue to pray for more provision of funds for other mission stations that are in need of wells.
MONDAY 7TH Praise God for speedy recovery of Mrs. Elizabeth H. Arkson and Miss Pheobe in City Ministries who were sick and went through successful surgery.

  • Pray that God would meet the financial obligations of each EMS board member.

  • Pray for, Jamilu a convert who is detached from his family because of his faith, that he would stand strong.

WEDNESDAY 16TH EMS CITY MINISTRIES
  • Pray for the Almajiri program that is gaining ground once again in Gidan Bege. 72 of these street boys come forth nightly to watch Christian movies, talk show, receive feeding, run around and also get cleaned up.
  • Pray that the Lord will grant more open doors to keep this program of reaching out to these children growing.

  • Praise God for the willingness of ECWA Gospel Centre Kano to renovate the Missionary house in Likawa, Niger Republic and pray for God’s provision to enable them achieve this.
  • Pray for the completion of the building of the house of a woman who donated a church land at Rijiyar Riga which is shouldered by ECWA Wuse 2, Abuja.
  • Pray for provision of motorcycle to ease movement and ministry work of Pastor Lawrence in Niger Republic.
FRIDAY 25TH CHAD REPUBLIC
  • Worship places and missionaries’ houses are still critical needs in most of our mission stations in Chad, do pray for God’s provision towards meeting these challenging needs.
  • Pray for God’s provision for urban church planting in Ndjamena, the capital of Chad Republic. Two lands are identified in the center of Ndjamena for the said purpose.
  • Pray as well for a suitable Missionary couple to be sent to Ndjamena for the said urban church planting.

Let’s not relent in praying for Martha Mishibi in whose house a church meets for fellowship in Chingola, Zambia. Ask the Lord to sustain the young church by His grace and to bless Sister Martha and her family.

  • Pray for God’s provision for structural development of the Church plot in Blantyre, Malawi. Pray for the 14 Malawi indigenous pastors as we trust God for their upkeep, trusting that they will be adopted as EMS missionaries as God raises supporters.
  • Pray for the growth, stability and unity among members of the church in Malawi.
MONDAY 28TH KENYA
Let’s keep Praying that God will provide a land in Utawala Kenya, where two halls are rented for place of worship and school.
Pray that God will enable the registration of ECWA Kenya with the Kenyan Government this year; Ask God to grant favor and wisdom as our missionary knocks on doors that are connected to registering ECWA with the Kenyan government.

  • Ask the Lord to Grant grace to teachers to teach effectively and grace on the pupils/students to understand and also study hard so as to pass their promotion examination this 3rd term.
  • Pray for the realization of the tree planting project in the EMS children schools; pray that people will be stirred to donate trees and cash towards this project.
WEDNESDAY 30TH EMS MEDICAL UNIT
Pray for God’s wisdom on Mr. Samuel Ijah the EMS Medical coordinator and the 11 staff working with him in all EMS medical centers across our mission stations; also pray for safety in all their travels.
THURSDAY 31TH Praise God for His sustaining grace on EMS in all its mission programs and travels throughout the month of May. WEEK ONE – FOCUS IS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING
FROM HOME AND CROSS-BOARDER MISSION FIELDS

THURSDAY 1ST Praise God for the safety granted to the EMS director and his team to and from Malawi for ECWA inauguration; praise God for the success of the entire program held 4th-20th of Feb. 2018.

FRIDAY 2ND Praise God for the successful completion of the registration of ECWA Burkina Faso, the church can now operate without any problem with the government of the country.

SATURDAY 3RD Praise God for the safe arrival of the new missionaries and the old ones on transfer to their new mission stations across the country. Ask the Lord to grant them and their families grace to acclimatize to the new environment, and to be effective in developing mission strategies.

Let’s not relent in praying for more wisdom on EMS Management Team as they lead and give instructions at the Head Office, Regional offices, DCCs, and various levels in the ministry through the month of March like He did in the previous months.

TUESDAY 6TH EMS SUPPORTERS Ask the Lord to raise more supporters for EMS, as laborers have been added to the EMS mission work force. Let’s appreciate God for the consistent, selfless commitment of all existing supporters.

WEDNESDAY 7TH ECWA EXECUTIVES Pray for the process and preparations for the forth coming election of the ECWA president and the ECWA assistance general sectary. Ask the Lord to raise for himself mission minded individuals for this positions.

THURSDAY 8TH ECWA MINSTERS/STAKEHOLDERS Ask that the Lord to direct, sanctify, and govern them in their work, so that the Gospel of Christ may be truly preached, truly received, and truly followed in all places ECWA is commissioned to reach out to.

FRIDAY 9TH MID EAST REGION-LAFIA DCC Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Adamu Dutse the Mid-East Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God’s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region.

  • Pray that the hearts of more mission-minded individuals will be stirred towards joining the support or small donors’ team in the Mid-East Region.
  • Pray for unbelievers seeking to know Christ in this region that the Lord will enable them take a bold step towards making that decision.
  • The regional coordinator’s last son is suffering from kidneys problem, ask God for a miracle healing to the glory and honor of his name.

SATURDAY 10TH FAR NORTH WEST REGION Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Mazadu Korau the Far North West Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God’s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region.

  • Ask the Lord to grant grace to the coordinators and missionaries in this region as they strategies on how to reach the following targeted areas Yauri, Bagudo, and Magajiya. Ask God to raise more laborers for the harvest that is already ripped in the region.

  • Praise God for the provisions for the roofing of the EMS mission field School at Amaeze – Ishiagu. Praise God for the provision towards the well digging at Ntezi mission field. Let’s keep praying for provision for the bore whole sinking projects in various mission stations in this region this year.
  • Ask the Lord to grant opening to meet the urgent need of motor bikes for some missionaries working in the interior parts of this region.
  • Let’s not relent in asking the Lord to raise more indigenous mission supporters for EMS in this region this year.
  • Ask the Lord to open doors financially for the development of the worship place in Lokpanta mission station.

MONDAY 12TH NORTH EAST REGION- GOMBE DCC Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Yunana Misal the North East Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God’s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region.

  • Praise God for the increasing number of children in Purkutuma EMS mission field’s school, the pupils in the school presently number about 00 are in dire need of more teachers. Ask the Lord to raise mission minded individuals that will be willing to serve in this mission field as missionary teachers.

TUESDAY 13TH CENTRAL REGION GARKI DCC Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Danladi Gana Slash the Central Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God’s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region.

  • Praise God for the two churches in Bwari and Boko DCC that has grown as mission stations and are to be weaned to operate as local church council (LCC). Ask the Lord to grant grace to these churches to grow spiritually and effectively in witnessing.

WEDNESDAY 14TH SOUTH NORTH EAST-TARABA DCC Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Nehemiah T. Magaji the South North East Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God’s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region.

  • Ask the Lord to restore peace in Dumme mission station were Fulani herds men attacked, leaving many houses bunt as a result, some are rendered humbles and had become refugees.
  • Let’s not relent in praying for the safety of all missionaries and their families with the people they are reaching out to.
  • Let’s keep praying for Gods intervention and perfect healing on the son of our missionary, Pastor Feson Tasha by name Joshua, who has been psychologically unstable. Pray for healing.

THURSDAY 15TH FAR NORTH REGION-KATSINA DCC Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Yahaya Bungule the Far North Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God’s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region.

  • Praise God, EMS major supporter in far north (call of hope) for another set of sixteen (6) motor cycles which they were distributed to EMS missionaries in various mission stations across Kano, Katsina and Tsiga D.C.Cs. not only that, also a promise financial donations were made for the building of church Auditoriums and pastorium in selected mission stations.
  • Ask the Lord to increase grace and blessings on Call of Hope for their commitment to supporting the work of EMS in the Far North.

FRIDAY 16TH NORTH WEST REGION – KADUNA DCC Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Gambo Ayuba the North West Region Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God’s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region.

  • Ask the Lord to grant financial open doors for the building of the official coordinators house in Fadan Kagoma dcc.

SUNDAY 18TH ECWA NIGER REPUBLIC Praise God for the opportunity granted to EMS missionaries to be able to witness in some critical places in Niger Republic without hindrance.

  • Pray for success as Rev Kanawa and takes over from the Likitas with a rescheduled plan to have open evangelism at three locations; Karey Gourou, Torodi and Panuma at the first quarter of 2018. Pray for God’s provision to enable them hold the said programs.

MONDAY 19TH ECWA ZAMBIA CHURCH Ask the Lord to grant ECWA ministers and members in Zambia consistent victory over every strong hold of wickedness that is waging war against their spiritual growth, Ministry fruitfulness and Evangelism.

TUESDAY 20TH MALAWI

  • Praise God for the success of the long awaited ECWA Malawi inauguration. Ask the Lord to grant more grace of sustainability for the church. Pray that the church will be self-sustaining and self-propagating.
  • Let’s keep praying for God’s provision for structural development of the church plot in Blantyre, Malawi; also pray for financial opening doors for the upkeep of the 4 Malawi indigenous pastors.

WEDNESDAY 21ST ECWA MALI CHURCH Pray for more soul winning strategies for Rev. & Mrs. Amah in Mali in the year 2018.

THURSDAY 22ND ECWA BURKINA FASO CHURCH

  • Pray for God’s provision of one tricycle and two (2) Motorcycles for the progress of the work in Burkina Faso.
  • There is a need for the engagement of Burkina national for the ministry of EMS of ECWA Burkina Faso, pray for suitable candidate to be engaged.
  • There are 3 disciples from ECWA Burkina Faso to be sent for Theological training in ECWA Togo or The Gambia. Pray for God’s provision for the support of their training.
  • Pray for the spiritual growth of all the converted prostitutes in Burkina Faso who are undergoing discipleship with Pastor Dauda lliya.

FRIDAY 23RD ECWA BENIN REPUBLIC Praise God for the successful purchased of the second church land in Godomey- Cotonou, Benin Republic.

  • Rev. & Mrs. Amos Olugbenga are trusting God to secure accommodation in Godomey, closer to the church, pray for a suitable accommodation.
  • Pray for God’s provision of resources to positively erect a temporary place of worship for ECWA Godomey-Cotonou, Benin Republic.
  • Pray for good working relationship for our Missionaries in Benin Republic; ask that they will foster the progress of his work in the field.

SATURDAY 24TH ECWA TOGO CHURCH

  • Praise God almighty for his providence over the lives of our Missionaries in Togo – good health of missionaries’ families, good evangelistic work, unity, and progress of the work.
  • Pray for God’s provision for the purchase of church lands in Zanguera, University campus, No’tes and Bagouda.
  • Pray for God’s provision for the purchase of a ministry vehicle for the work EMS of ECWA Togo.

WEEK FIVE FOCUS ON OTHER EMS MISSION ARMS

SUNDAY 25TH EMS CHILDREN/MISSION FIELD SCHOOLS Ask the Lord to protect every child schooling at any EMS facility from evil associations and occult initiations, such cases have become rampart in most of our circular schools. Pray that these children will grow in knowing and loving the Lord daily in our own schools.

  • Ask the Lord to grant financial opening to parents struggling to pay their children’s school fees.
  • Pray for increased wisdom and grace for effective teaching on all teachers in EMS children and mission field schools.

MONDAY 26TH EMS MEDICAL UNIT Praise God for graciously delivering our missionaries in various fields from terrible sickness last month, and for many who are receiving healing from their infirmities.

  • Ask the Lord to grant EMS missionaries grace to be truly impressed with his merciful goodness and healing, and that we may devote our strength and good health to a humble, holy and obedient lives, walking before Him on daily basis.

TUESDAY 27TH EMS HOUSE OF HOPE Ask the Lord to continuously heal, provide and comfort grieving children in all EMS House of Hope who lost parents, relatives, and friends. Pray that they may be psychologically and emotional stable as they are being cared for.

WEDNESDAY 28TH EMS DRIVING UNIT Ask God for divine protection on all EMS vehicles and drivers through the month of March.

THURSDAY 29TH EMS SPORTS UNIT Praise God for the positive impact the EMS sport unit is making in the life of many young people Pray for the salvation of the unbelieving youths in Sport Ministry of EMS who are willing to become believers in Christ, that they will have boldness to do so and ready to carry their cross.

FRIDAY 30TH ECWA T.V MINISTRY Pray for ECWA T.V Ministry for more financial opening and for the Holy Spirit’s leading, as a lot of work is ongoing for the take-off of this very important ministry hopefully by April, 2018. Praise God for the safe arrival of EMS missionaries from Nigeria to the Gambia and other cross borders mission fields. Ask the Lord to increase upon them grace as they settle down and strategies on how to begin work in their new mission fields.

Praise God for SIL (Scripture International League) Mali for their willingness to partner with ECWA Mali in the area of providing translated videos and ministry materials available with them for the purpose of evangelism and discipleship in EMS Mali mission fields.
SATURDAY 3RD
Thank God for success of the weddings of our missionaries and those who gave their daughters in marriage, they include Pas. & Mrs. Udah Bagudu in Kano, Rev. Bature Nomau and Rev. Lawai I. Yaro gave their daughters in marriage. Ask the Lord to sustain these homes by His grace.

Therefore, all EMS arms, missionaries, office staff, prayer partners and supporters should please endeavor to join the EMS international head office in prayers. We join faith and trust God in one accord with brethren around the world for a steady and fruitful growth of the work of missions, peace and the salvation of nations, for revival and spiritual growth of the Church. Prayer time at the Head Office is 8-9am, 12-1pm, and 3-4 pm. You can join us in prayers wherever you may be at those times or make out time of your own convenience as you are led by God. Please, just be sure to pray along as you fast.

Praise God for the new missionaries and coordinator that has reported to their stations already ; ask that those who will be reporting within this month will be granted safety and that all of them will should be granted grace to be steadfast and committed to their mandate.

  • Pray for the newly weaned prayer house to a Local Church Board in this region for more strength to sustain the growth momentum. Pray for success of the ongoing plans to wean other mission stations that are fully grown, and are due to be weaned this year.
  • Pray for God’s blessings on one of our supporter who is single handedly building a church auditorium at ECWA MISSION STATION GIDAN KURA.

Pray for God’s visitation and healing on Pas. Yusuf Usman who is currently not been able to use his sight as a result of a spiritual attack. Also pray for Pas. Mamuda Muda and Musa M. Gagare who are also struggling with their health.

SUNDAY 18TH

Let’s not relent in praying for the about N300M needed to cater for various EMS cross borders mission projects.
NIGER REP. Praise God for the successful taken over of Rev. & Mrs. Abdu Garba Kanawa from Rev. & Mrs. Tanimu Ishaya Umaru from EMS of ECWA Maradi, Niger Republic field; pray for the Kanawas to acclimatize well as they assume ministry in Maradi, Niger Republic.

  • Pray for God to touch and convict many Nigerien to accept Jesus Christ who is the only way to heaven in Jesus Mighty name.
  • Pray for God to open door ways for the purchase of church land for 1st ECWA Maradi, Niger Republic.

MONDAY 19th ECWA ZAMBIA CHURCH

  • Praise God for the total number of 12 people who were baptized in Kitwe, the Zambian Church in the year 2017.
  • Thank God for the ministry of Mrs. Kuzasuwat among the girls in Zambia. Pray for God’s blessings upon their farm this rainy season and their center for learning tailoring.
  • Pray for the Lord’s direction as the Kuzasuwats take the step to start two prayer houses in Chingola and Luansha both of these towns are in Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Two families have been contacted, pray as they finalize on their decision to open their houses to be used.
  • Pray for open doors for the education of the Kuzasuwat’s children; they are being slowed down for lack of funds.

TUESDAY 20TH MALAWI

  • Praise God for God’s protection over Rev. Sukukum and family, together with the other 14 pastors in Malawi. 2017 was full of activities and trainings with facilitators from USA and Nigeria which all recorded successes.
  • Pray for the inauguration of the Malawi ECWA Church. Pray for the ECWA President and his entourage for safe flight to and from Blantyre in Malawi and for a successful event.
  • Pray for God’s provision for structural development of the Church plot in Blantyre, Malawi. Pray for the 14 Malawi indigenous pastors as we trust God for their upkeep trusting that they will be adopted as EMS missionaries as God raises supporters.

WEDNESDAY 21ST: ECWA MALI CHURCH

  • Praise God for the prison ministry of Rev. & Mrs. Amah in Mali, appreciate Him for the favor He granted them to formerly carry out discipleship programme with the women inmates.
  • Pray for more access to Bambara Christian films for the ministry of Rev. & Mrs. Amah in Mali as many people speaks and understands Bambara better than French.
  • Pray for more soul winning strategies for Rev. & Mrs. Amah in Mali in the year 2018 in Jesus name.

THURSDAY 22ND ECWA BURKINA-FASO CHURCH

  • Pray for the growth of Women Fellowship, Men Fellowship and Youth Fellowship which has started in ECWA Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
  • Pray for Amon Christophe, Pastor Dauda lliya first convert in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso who is at ECWA Theological College Zalanga, Bauchi State, Nigeria for success in his academic pursuit.

FRIDAY 23RD: CHAD REPUBLIC

  • Continue to pray for the ongoing plans for urban church planting work in N’djamena the capital city of Chad Republic; Pray that God will raise a missionary who can meet up with the task of urban church planting in N’djamena and also provide the needed resources.
  • Pray for the various needs of mission the stations in Chad Republic such as: land, clean water, church buildings and pastoriums.

SATURDAY 24TH ECWA TOGO CHURCH

  • Pray for the ongoing translation work of ECWA documents into French and God’s provision for the work.
  • Pray for God’s providence for the building of the mission Church in Kaboli amounting to N2, 000.000.00.
  • Pray for God to provide EMS of ECWA Togo with a vehicle for the purpose of mission work, for the challenges is obvious as well as large portion of land for ECWA Togo headquarters. Two heckthers of land ECWA HEADQUARTERS OF TOGO OFFICE will cost us about five million naira only (N 5,000,000.00).

WEEK FIVE: FOCUS ON OTHER EMS MISSION ARMS

SUNDAY 25TH GFG EMS CHILDREN/MISSION FIELD’S SCHOOLS

  • Praise God for the safe resumption of both students and teachers in all EMS mission field and EMS Children schools across our mission fields.
  • Ask the Lord to grant financial opening to parents struggling to pay their children’s school fees.
  • Pray for increase wisdom and grace for effective teaching on all teachers in EMS children and mission field schools in this 2nd academic term.

MONDAY 26TH EMS MEDICAL UNIT

Ask the Lord to grant wisdom and patience to the 11 medical staff working in the EMS clinics; pray that they stay steadfast and committed to their work in 2018.

TUESDAY 27TH: EMS HOUSE OF HOPE

EMS HOUSE OF HOPE main campus in Jos is in dire need of major renovation; ask the Lord to grant financial open doors to enable EMS carry out these repairs that are needed to be done on the buildings.

WEDNESDAY 28TH EMS DRIVING UNIT

Ask God for divine protection on all EMS vehicles and drivers through the month of February especially as they convey new and old missionaries on transfer to their new mission stations.

THURSDAY 29TH EMS SPORTS UNIT

Ask the Lord to grant Rev. Emmanuel Ali the Sport ministry coordinator safety and favor in all his travels to various mission stations for follow up visit to missionaries who uses sports in their mission field as a medium for reaching out to youths.

FRIDAY 30TH EMS TRAININIG UNIT

Ask the Lord to grant financial opening for tuition fees for EMS missionaries who are on training in theological schools and bible colleges at home and abroad.

SATURDAY 31TH

Praise God for His sustaining grace on EMS in all its mission programs and travels throughout the month of February.

MONDAY 1ST
  • Praise God for carrying us, bearing us on His eagles’ wings (Exodus 19:4) and delivering us from whatever power that could have stopped us from seeing the year 2018.

TUESDAY 2ND

  • Praise God for the land donated for the building of the Ndok Aminika’s mission field church in the Mideast Region. Pray for the financial means and the building material provisions to enable EMS to develop this land.

WEDNESDAY 3RD

  • Praise God for the life of the inmates Rev. & Mrs. Amah are reaching out to in Mali; two among them have been released after a long time of praying and waiting upon the Lord. One is from the men’s prison and the other from the women’s.

THURSDAY 4TH

  • Praise God for the provision of a projector and projector screen for Rev. & Mrs. Amah’s ministry in Bamako, Mali. This has been a pressing need for this missionary couple, but to God’s glory, it’s now an answered prayer. Ask the Lord to bless the donor.

FRIDAY 5TH

  • Praise God for keeping Rev. Tanimu and family during the period of their two years of ministry in Maradi, Niger Republic as Cross Borders Missionaries.
  • Praise God for a successful orientation exercise of Rev. Abdu Garba Kanawa who succeeded Rev. Tanimu in Maradi, Niger Republic.
  • Praise God for the safety He granted Rev. Tanimu and family who finally returned to Nigeria after two years of service in Niger Republic.

SATURDAY 6TH Praise God for providing and granting safety to Pas. Azariah Akawo and one of the Togo Pastors who were able to attend the ECWA Pastors International Conference in Nigeria in December.

WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS

SUNDAY 7TH EMS MANAGEMENT

  • Pray for Rev. Simon Yako, the EMS Director, the EMS management team and the board members for wisdom in leadership, safety in travels and increased grace as they do ministry in the year 2018.

MONDAY 8TH EMS BOARD MEMBERS

  • Pray for the EMS Board members, that they would keep their passion strong for the mission and remain committed to the ministry of soul-winning.

TUESDAY 9TH EMS SUPPORTERS

  • Pray for our supporters, that they would be committed in supporting, that the Lord would keep them above reproach, devoted to Him and their families, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, and that their work would be blessed in increased measure.

WEDNESDAY 10TH EMS ACCOUNTS DEPARTMEMNT

  • Pray for EMS accounting department, as they keep track of budgets, expenses, missionary accounts, and other technical aspects of running the ministry in 2018, that increased wisdom will be granted them.

THURSDAY 11TH NEW MISSIONARIES

  • Pray for new missionaries who are recruited to join in the ministry of EMS and are been deployed to various mission fields for God’s grace on them and their families to function effectively.

FRIDAY 12TH SOUTH EAST-ABA DCC Ask the Lord to raise more indigenous mission supporters for EMS in this region this year.

  • Ask the Lord to grant us open doors financially for the development of the worship place in Lokpanta mission station.

SATURDAY 13TH NORTH EAST REGION- GOMBE DCC

  • Pray for the Fulani people that are found in most of our mission stations in this region that they will see the true way and follow Jesus Christ.
  • Let’s not relent in praying for the EMS mission stations in Kurjale and Zanifawa who are in dire need of roofing materials to roof their church buildings. Ask the Lord to grant them and other EMS mission stations with such needs open doors to enable them to meet the needs.

SUNDAY 14TH CENTRAL REGION GARKI DCC

  • Ask the Lord to intervene over the EMS mission field school in Munape mission station that has been threatened by Fulani/Muslim terrorists. Also pray for provision of roofing materials, doors and windows for the classrooms under construction.
  • Pray for a speedy recovery and stability for Boko EMS coordinator, Pas. Amos Isah, who was involved in a very serious accident on a visit to Niger Republic.

MONDAY 15TH SOUTH NORTH EAST-TARABA DCC

  • The son of our missionary, Pastor Feson Joshua, has been psychologically unstable lately; ask the Lord to intervene in his situation and to grant Pastor Joshua and the family grace to stay focused and be prayerful for their child.

TUESDAY 16TH FAR NORTH REGION-KATSINA DCC

  • Praise God, and also pray that He bless the ministry of Call of Hope, an EMS support organization. They donated N350,000.00 for the rebuilding of the pastor’s house in Maje Kano DCC. Also pray for the realization of the borehole this organization is working on sinking with overhead tanks in Gidan Bris in Katsina DCC in response to the community need.
  • Pray for the need of land to build churches in Far North. It has not been easy to grant church land in the Far North.

WEDNESDAY 17TH NORTH WEST REGION – KADUNA DCC

  • Ask the Lord to comfort EMS and the family of Pastor Daniel Nomau who was called home to rest in December 2017. Pray for his five children and six other adopted ones (11 all together) for provisions for their upkeep; and for his wife for grace as she cares for these children.
  • Pray for EMS supporters in Kaduna who are affected in the state government policy of workers’ retrenchment, ask the Lord to arise and to intervene on their behalf.

THURSDAY 18TH SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION-TARABA DCC

  • Pray for Pastor Bulus Modi, an EMS missionary working in Dong mission field, who lost his properties to a Fulani herdsmen attack. Several of his church members and others villagers were also affected. While we praise God for sparing their lives, let’s ask God to replace the lost items.
  • Let’s keep praying for Yamel DCC Coordinator who is in need of a motor bike to enhance his work of supervision and mission generally. Ask the Lord to grant him the needed resources.

FRIDAY 19TH MID EAST REGION-LAFIA DCC

  • The mission station in Awase community that is strategically located along the Nigeria/Cameroon border is, to the glory of God, recording good success and is in need of a form of mobility to aid the missionary’s movement for outreaches and evangelism to other distant communities. Ask the Lord to grant opening for this need to be met.

SATURDAY 20TH FAR NORTH WEST REGION

  • Pray for God’s wisdom and leadership as preparations are ongoing to wean Awala, Gidan Makeri, Maje and Atabo mission stations into full-fledged churches.

WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON CROSS BORDERS MISSION FIELDS

SUNDAY 21ST Praise God for all the progresses recorded last year (2017) in the cross border EMS
mission fields.

  • Let’s not relent in praying for the N300M needed for various EMS cross borders mission projects.
  • This year there will be transfers of some cross borders missionaries; pray for safety in travels and for provisions of all necessary logistical needs.

MONDAY 22ND ECWA ZAMBIA CHURCH

  • Praise God for the resumption of the Kuzasuwats hospital evangelism and the permission granted to them to do so in the Zambian Government hospital.
  • Praise God for raising Justone Banda, who was recently baptized in Zambia. He has offered to join in full-time ministry and this came at the right time when activities in the major township around the copperbelt region are opening, in such areas as Luansha, Chingola, Ndola, Mufirila and Kalulushi.
  • Praise God for Mrs. Idah Kayeka who offered her house for a prayer house to begin in Ndola which is in the Copper belt province, Zambia.

TUESDAY 23RD ECWA KENYA CHURCH

  • Praise God for the successful graduation of 6 pupils in the kindergarten from the EMS School in Utawala Nairobi, Kenya and for the commendable efforts of the committed teachers.
  • Praise God for the successful baptism of seven new members added to the church and for the renewed commitment among the members in Utawala, Kenya.
  • Pray for the provision of funds to run the school; textbooks, stationaries, a school bus and a land for building both church and classrooms are needed in Utawala Nairobi Kenya. We are praying for N26M.

WEDNESDAY 24THH ECWA MALI CHURCH

  • Pray for God’s divine visitation upon the life of Hamidou Guirou who is facing spiritual dryness as a result of his family’s challenges.
  • Foundation laying process had slowed down for lack of about 500,000 FCFA to lay the foundation for the whole fence. Please pray for God’s provision to complete the foundation.

THURSDAY 25TH ECWA BURKINA FASO CHURCH

  • Ask the Lord to grant an opening for the replacement of Pastor Dauda’s motor bike that was damaged in an accident he was involved in while returning from church registration processes with the government of Burkina Faso.
  • Pray for God to provide ECWA Ouagadougou with a place of worship, this has been a huge need for some time.

FRIDAY 26TH CHAD REPUBLIC

  • Praise God for the progress that is being recorded in Chad Republic: 49 mission stations and their 3 prayer cells (Ojogor, Oongogo and Oomo-dagahla) opened this quarter.
  • Praise God for the 164 people who accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior this quarter! Pray for their spiritual growth.

SATURDAY 27TH ECWA TOGO CHURCH

  • Praise God for the progress made so far regarding the vision of starting ECWA Theological School in Togo. We thank God it is gradually becoming a reality; by God’s grace ECWA Togo has fully accepted and approved this project to start in September 2018!
  • Pray for God to provide support for a borehole for Tota Village and Kedjida Cope which will amount to N150, 000 naira each.

WEEK FIVE: FOCUS ON OTHER EMS MISSION ARMS

  • Praise God for looking after EMS children in mission field schools with staff, pupils and students throughout the Christmas holidays and for bringing them back to school for the second term.
  • Ask the Lord to grant financial opening to parents struggling to pay their children’s school fees.
  • Pray for greater wisdom and grace for effective teaching in all teachers in EMS children and mission field schools.

MONDAY 29TH EMS MEDICAL UNIT

  • Ask the Lord to grant speedy recovery to missionaries and their supporters that are suffering ill health; also pray that God grants all EMS staff sound health to work effectively in 2018.

TUESDAY 30TH EMS HOUSE OF HOPE

  • Pray that the Lord will protect the children under our care in each EMS House of Hope across the country from kidnappers.
  • Pray for God’s provision towards meeting the needs of these children and other categories of people EMS House of Hope has targeted to minister to in 2018.
  • Pray for the safety of the staff of EMS House of Hope in all their ministry works and travels.

WEDNESDAY 31TH EMS DRIVING UNIT

  • Ask God for divine protection on all EMS vehicles and drivers from January through December 2018. Pray that we will not record any car lost and death of any staff through accident this year in Jesus’ name. Amen!

FRIDAY 1ST
Praise God for sustaining EMS, its management team, its field missionaries, its office staff and all supporters from January to December 2017.

SATURDAY 2ND
Praise God for the converts made through EMS mission programs carried out at different times by our missionaries in their various mission fields. Ask the Lord to sustain them in faith and to keep safe those who are being persecuted because of their conversion.

WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS

“Therefore I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing praises to your name.” 2 Sam 22:50

SUNDAY 3RD EMS HEAD OFFICE

  • Praise God with the EMS Management Team for God’s grace, wisdom for right and strategic decisions, safety in all travels, and divine protection over their families throughout the year 2017.
  • Praise God for the retirement service of Rev. & Mrs. Idris Sarkin-noma holding today, 3rd of December, at ECWA Church Ungwan Maichibi in Kasuwan Magani DCC. Pray for the success of the program and for other retirees as they serve God in other ministry capacities.

Therefore, all ems arms, missionaries, office staff, prayer partners and supporters should please endeavor to join the ems international head office in prayers. We join faith and trust god in one accord with brethren around the world for a steady and fruitful growth of the work of missions, peace and the salvation of nations, for revival and spiritual growth of the church. Our prayer time at the head office is 8-9am, 12-1pm, and 3-4 pm respectively. You can join us in prayers wherever you may be at those times or make out time of your own convenience as you are led by God. Please, just be sure to pray along as you fast.

  • Praise God for His grace on Rev. Slash Gana, the Central Regional Coordinator, to coordinate this region’s mission activities all year.
  • Praise God for the life, works and families of missionaries working under this region.
  • Praise God for the mission stations in this region that have been weaned into a full-fledged church this year.

TUESDAY 5TH NORTH WEST – KADUNA

  • Praise God for His grace on Rev. Gambo Ayuba, the North West Regional Coordinator, to coordinate this region’s mission activities all year.
  • Praise God for the increased number of supporters that have been added to the committed supporters in this region.
  • Praise God for the safety of missionaries, and for the safe release of a missionary’s wife, children and church members that were kidnapped at one point in this region.

WEDNESDAY 6TH MID-CENTRAL – KAGORO

  • Praise God for the life, ministry and family of Rev. Zakka Ma’aji, the regional coordinator of this region, for sound health, divine protection in travels and for wisdom to coordinate the mission activities for this region throughout this year.
  • This region has been faced with several challenges this year, including low mission supports, attacks on mission stations, and threats on missionaries’ life and families, but through all of these and many more, God has sustained them. Praise God for His providence and divine protection.

THURSDAY 7TH MID EAST REGION – LAFIA DCC

  •  Praise God for the life, ministry and family of Rev. Dutse Adamu, the regional coordinator of this region, for sound health, divine protection in travels and for wisdom to coordinate the mission activities for this region.
  •  Praise God for the life and ministry of all the missionaries working in this region and for all the progress recorded in the work of making converts, disciples and planting churches through this year.

FRIDAY 8TH FAR NORTH REGION – MALUMFASHI

  • Praise God for the life, ministry and family of Rev. Yahaya Bungule, the regional coordinator of this region, for sound health, divine protection in travels and for wisdom to coordinate the mission activities for this region.
  • Despite the much opposition the Gospel receives from the fanatical unbelievers in this region, God has in His wisdom drawn many to His saving grace. Praise God for the wisdom He grants missionaries working in this region and for the power of the Gospel through which many are being reached and won to the Kingdom.

SATURDAY 9TH FAR NORTH WEST REGION – KEBBI

  • Praise God for His grace on Rev. Mazadu Korau, the regional coordinator of this region, to coordinate this region’s mission activities from January to date.
  • Praise God for the faith of missionaries working in this region with their families.
  • Praise God for the success of the missionary wives seminar that was held in Yauri in Kebbi DCC.

  • Praise God for the life, ministry and family of Rev. Yunana Misal, the regional coordinator of this region, for sound health, divine protection in travels and for wisdom to coordinate the mission activities for this region.
  • Praise for the success of mission awareness held in this region in various DCCs this year, most recent among them is the one in ECWA Bore DCC.

MONDAY 11TH SOUTH EAST REGION – ABA

  • Praise God for the life, ministry and family of Rev. Egelonu Obinali, the regional coordinator of this region, for sound health, divine protection in travels and for wisdom to coordinate the mission activities for this region through the year.
  • Praise God for new stations that were opened in this region and for strategic lands that were donated by mission-minded individuals for the purpose of church buildings and other mission-related structures.

TUESDAY 12TH SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION – TARABA

  • Praise God for His grace on Rev. Nehemiah T. Magaji, the South North East Regional Coordinator, to coordinate this region’s mission activities from January to date.
  • Praise God for the safety of all EMS missionaries working in this region, especially those working among ruthless unbelievers. We also thank God for the number of converts made from amongst them.
  • Praise God for the success of the mission conference held in Shongom DCC with a fundraising for the coordinator’s official house building project.

WEDNESDAY 13TH NORTH CENTRAL REGION – JOS

  • Praise God for the life, ministry and family of Rev. Yahaya Bungule, the regional coordinator of this region, for sound health, divine protection in travels and for wisdom to coordinate the mission activities for this region.

THURSDAY 14TH SOUTH WEST REGION – ILORIN

  • Praise God for the life, ministry and family of Rev. Oladipo Cornelius Taiwo, the regional coordinator of this region, for sound health, divine protection in travels and for wisdom to coordinate the mission activities for this region.
  • This region over time has been faced with various manpower and financial challenges, but God in His mercy has sustained us through all the hurdles; praise God for His grace on the missionaries and the existing mission stations.

FRIDAY 15TH GHANA

  • Thank God for the success of ECWA Ghana’s maiden convention, with Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Gado as guest speaker.
  • Thank God for the baptism of 8 people at the Adawukwa church, Ghana and the purchase of two and one-half plots of land at Young Tamale, Ghana.

SATURDAY 16TH MALAWI
Thank God for the privilege given to Rev. Sukukum to go to USA to fellowship with one of the partners of EMS. It was a refreshing moment and highly encouraging. He returned to meet his family in Malawi in good health – Praise to God.

WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON CROSS BORDERS MISSION FIELDS

SUNDAY 17TH ECWA MALI CHURCH

  • Praise God for granting healing to Rev. Amah’s wife, who was totally down for about three weeks after her delivery. We also appreciate God for providing the money for the hospital bill.
  • Praise God for the testimonies surrounding holiday classes of the Amahs in Mali; some of the university students that attended are willing to continue with evening classes.
  • Thank God for a successful dedication of children in ECWA Bamako, Mali; the Hamidous and the Amahs dedicated their daughters to the glory of God.

MONDAY 18TH ECWA BURKINA FASO CHURCH

  • Praise God for the progress of the registration of ECWA Burkina Faso.
  • Praise God for the successful election of ECWA Burkina Faso leaders.
  • Praise God for Pastor Jean Marie in Burkina Faso who has started a prayer meeting in another location in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

TUESDAY 19TH ECWA BENIN REPUBLIC CHURCH

  • Praise God for the successful inauguration of ECWA Porto Novo, Benin Republic prayer house and the progress of the field.
  • Praise God for the successful registration of ECWA Benin Republic. ECWA is now officially registered with the government of the country.

WEDNESDAY 20TH ECWA NIGER REPUBLIC CHURCH

  • Praise God for His abiding grace prevailing over evil forces of darkness in Niger Republic.
  • Praise God for His guidance over new converts in the Niger Republic field.
  • Praise God for open doors to share the Gospel throughout this year in Niger Republic in spite of stiff oppositions.

 

THURSDAY 21ST ECWA TOGO CHURCH

  • Praise God for His providence over EMS of ECWA Togo, good health of missionaries’ families, good evangelistic work, unity, and progress in work.
  • Praise God for new churches planted in different location in the Togo field this year.
  • Praise God for gradually bringing the vision of starting an ECWA THEOLOGICAL SCHOOL IN TOGO to a reality, by God’s grace the ECWA Togo has fully accepted and approved the school to start in September 2018.

FRIDAY 22ND ECWA ZAMBIA CHURCH

  1. Praise God for many evangelistic activities that were embarked on in Copperbelt and the central provinces of Zambia. About 168 people were heard the Gospel and 5 accepted the Lord, while 35 people rededicated their lives to the Lord.
  2. The Lord granted Mrs. Kuzasuwat a safe flight from Zambia to Nigeria and back; thank God for renewing her passport without a problem and the encouragement she received from the office and host of relatives and friends.

SATURDAY 23RD ECWA KENYA CHURCH
Praise God for the provision of 50 desks from a pastor friend and his church towards the EMS School in Utawala Nairobi, Kenya.

WEEK FIVE: FOCUS ON OTHER EMS MISSION ARMS

SUNDAY 24TH EMS MEDICAL UNIT

  • Praise God for His grace and wisdom on Mr. Samuel A. Ijah, the EMS medical coordinator, his family and all the health workers working with him in various EMS medical centers.
  • Praise God for the health of our missionaries; despite some having suffered ill health, God has been faithful in keeping us and proving for medical care.

MONDAY 25TH EMS SUPPORTERS
Praise God for His provisions and grace to stay committed to supporting the works of mission through EMS despite many financial challenges our nations are faced with today. Prayer partners like you have also not relented in any way. We bless God for all of you.

TUESDAY 26TH EMS SPORTS UNIT

  • Praise God for granting sound health and His grace to Rev. Emmanuel Ali, the EMS sports ministry coordinator, to coordinate the sport ministry activities in 2017.
  • Praise God for the fantastic opportunity EMS sports ministry has to train young leaders from across various mission fields.
  • Give thanks for the chance to support key leaders who are pioneering sports missions in their cities and countries inside and outside EMS mission fields in Nigeria.

WEDNESDAY 27TH EMS TRAINING UNIT
Praise God for his grace and wisdom on Rev. James Saleh and his family throughout this year in his coordination of the numerous trainings that he operates for EMS.

THURSDAY 28TH EMS CHILDREN/MISSION FIELD SCHOOLS

  • Praise God for his grace on Rev. Dr. Ben Buba, the EMS school services coordinator, and his family through this year.
  • Praise God for looking after EMS children and mission field schools in various mission fields with staff, pupils and students.

FRIDAY 29TH EMS MBB UNIT

  • Praise God for the converts made through this unit this year.
  • Praise God for His grace on Rev. Dr. Shaba Adams who coordinates the mission activities of this unit.

SATURDAY 30TH EMS HOUSE OF HOPE

  • Praise God for the life, ministry and family of Rev. Ayuba Kukwi, the EMS House of Hope coordinator. Praise God for His grace for effective work and achievements this year.
  • Praise God for protecting the orphans and needy children under our care in all EMS Houses of Hope across the country from kidnappers assigned to invade the orphanage homes and steal the children.
  • Praise God for His provision towards meeting the needs of these children and others EMS House of Hope ministered to in 2017.
  •  Praise God for the safety of the staff of EMS House of Hope in all their ministry works and travels.

SUNDAY 31ST EMS DRIVING UNIT
Praise God for His divine protection on all EMS vehicles and drivers from January through to this day. We have not recorded any car lost or death of any staff through accident this year. Blessed be the Name of the LORD!

WEEK ONE – FOCUS IS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING
FROM HOME AND CROSS-BOARDER MISSION FIELDS
“Praise be to the Lord, the God … who has not abandoned his kindness and faithfulness to us…”
Gen 24:27
 

WEDNESDAY 1ST We have been trusting God to enable us to secure the land at Ntezi mission field in the south east region which is to be used for a prayer center and camping ground. Praise God for answered prayers. Ask that the Lord will again open doors for finances and building materials for the building projects on this Land.

THURSDAY 2ND Praise God for the Great Commission materials a missionary used and 9 people were saved in Gidan Boka station in Tsiga DCC. Ask the Lord to sustain the new converts in faith.

FRIDAY 3RD We thank God for the successful building of the Pastorium in Babura Jigawa DCC. Babura is one of the difficult places among many in the far north region that was resistant to the Gospel. Praise God we now have a church and a pastorium there.

SATURDAY 4TH Praise God for His provisions towards the purchase of the land we’ve been praying for at Tudun Kaya mission station in the North central region. Ask the Lord to make provisions for the building project.

WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what He has done” (Psalm 105:1, NIV)

SUNDAY 5TH: Pray for a fruitful round up of the Kafi DCC mission awareness today, 5th of November 2017.

NOTE: WE ARE FASTING TOMORROW
First (1st) Monday of every month is to be observed nationally and internationally as EMS prayer and fasting day. Therefore, all EMS arms, missionaries, office staff, prayer partners and supporters should please endeavor to join the EMS international head office in prayers. We join faith and trust God in one accord with brethren around the world for a steady and fruitful growth of the work of missions, peace and the salvation of nations, for revival and spiritual growth of the Church. Our cooperate prayer time at the head office is 8-9am, 12-1pm, and 3-4 pm. You can join us in prayers wherever you may be at those times or at your own convenience time as you are led by God. Please don’t forget to pray and fast.

MONDAY 6TH Praise God for the success of the second EMS collections’ Sunday. Pray for God’s grace on all church leaders and stock holders for faithful remittance of funds for the purpose of missions at home and abroad.

TUESDAY 7TH MID EAST REGION-LAFIA: Pray for Irimiya Habu, who is currently looking for land to build the already existing second prayer house. Also pray for those with the need of pastoriums, specifically at Ikom mission station. Pray for Pastor Hananiah Monday, the prayer house where he works is in dire need of N255, 000.00 to complete their pastorium building.

WEDNESDAY 8TH CENTRAL REGION GARKI: Four mission stations are to be weaned before the end of this year in Mina DCC. Ask the Lord to grant wisdom for the regional coordinator, his missionaries and Mina DCC pastors as they plan and strategize on making these mission stations full-fledged churches.

THURSDAY 9TH FAR NORTH REGION – MALUMFASHI: Pray for God’s wisdom to develop a new ministry strategy for the Kingdom of God in the Far North.

FRIDAY 10TH NORTH EAST REGION- GOMBE:

  • Praise God for the mission field school that was started in one of the mission stations in Waja DCC with 80 kids as pioneering pupils. Ask the Lord to sustain this school by bringing mission-minded teachers and finances needed to run the school.
  • Let’s keep praying for the EMS mission stations in Kurjale and Zanifawa who are in dire need of roofing materials to roof their church buildings. Ask the Lord to grant them and other EMS mission stations with such needs open doors to enable them to meet the needs.

SATURDAY 11TH SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION-TARABA:

  • Pray for Mama Rabi Kwati, a long time EMS supporter who has just retired from civil service but is sick; ask the Lord to bring healing upon her and to also increase upon her strength, blessings and grace as she trusts God to continue supporting the work of missions.
  • Let’s keep praying for Yamel DCC Coordinator who is in dire need of a motor bike to enhance his work of supervision and mission generally. Ask the Lord to grant him the needed resources.

WEEK THREE – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what He has done” (Psalm 105:1, NIV)

SUNDAY 12TH Praise God for the safety of EMS Keffi DCC coordinator Rev. Alhamdu Jock who was involved in an accident with a motor bike last month. Let’s not relent in praying for the safety of our missionaries, especially coordinators in all their travels for supervisions and other mission programs.

MONDAY 13TH Praise God for EMS mission stations that are weaned this year. Ask the Lord to sustain these churches and enable them to be missionary-sending and supporting churches after been weaned.

TUESDAY 14th NORTH WEST REGION – KADUNA: The work of mission in this region in recent times has been enormous with the increased challenge of how to fund the works, but God has been faithful to His work. Last month, seven supporters were added to the numbers of supporters in the region, and to God’s glory three (3) passionate individuals have indicated interest to pick up the support of EMS missionaries, with Katari DCC Women fellowship increasing their support from half to full. Ask the Lord to bless them on every side and also enable them to be committed to this mandate of supporting.

WEDNESDAY 15TH NORTH WEST REGION: The regional coordinator’s official house building has by God’s enabling grace been raised to the lintel level. Praise God for His provision thus far and pray for more open doors for the completion of the building project.

THURSDAY 16TH MID EAST REGION-LAFIA:

  • Pray for Mrs. Daniel Ma’aji who is currently having severe spiritual attack.
  • Pray for Bushimis’s daughter who is three years old but still can’t talk or walk, ask the Lord to reach out to this child so she can walk and talk.
  • Pray for our mission school, at Azharuma; we are in need of more teaching aids and two more teaching staff.
  • Pray for single EMS missionaries preparing for marriage, among which are Pastor Isa Sepke, and Pastor Bala Jacob. Pray that they have a successful wedding, and also to have all the needed finances to carry out the wedding program.

FRIDAY 17TH. NORTH CENTRAL REGION:

  • The coordinators in Mangu, Yelwa, Zagun, and Gwol DCCs are in dire need of motor bikes to allow them to work effectively, especially in reaching out to interior mission stations for supervision and mission programs; ask the Lord to grant an opening for this need to be met.
  • Let’s keep praying for God’s provision to enable the pick-up of the regional coordinator’s official apartment building project soon.

SATURDAY 18TH Praise God for blessing the family of our missionary pastor, Ibrahim Solomon, with a beautiful baby girl; ask the Lord to grant Ibrahim and his wife everything they will need to raise this child in the fear of the Lord. Also pray for other missionary couples trusting God for the fruit of the womb.

WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON CROSS BORDERS MISSION FIELDS

SUNDAY 19TH EMS MEDICAL UNIT:

  • Pray for God’s healing on: Mrs. Halim James, Mrs. Antoro Shehu, Pas. Inusa Kosau, and Pas. Mamuda Musa.
  • There is an urgent need for additional observation room and equipment in EMS Children School Clinic, Jos, to boost health care delivery, which has necessitated the needs for an incubator for culture & sensitivity test, hospital beds with mattresses, Vitafoam pillows with kerosene lamps which are estimated to cost the total sum of N390, 500. Ask the Lord to grant opening for this urgent need to be met.

MONDAY 20TH EMS TRAINING UNIT: EMS new missionaries’ orientation starts today through the 24th; ask the Lord to grant safety to all participants. Ask the Lord to grant success and protection during the orientation program. Ask the Lord to grant wisdom and grace for effective delivery to all resource persons.

TUESDAY 21ST EMS CRISES RELIEF & PROJECT UNIT:

  • Pray for pastors, churches and non-government organizations that they would be equipped with all they need to bring aid to crises-affected areas in Nigeria.
  • Let us pray that God shall expose the sponsors, backers, sympathizers, and manipulators of Boko Haram and other terrorist groups. Let God bring them to justice, judgment and repentance.

WEDNESDAY 22ND EMS CHILDREN/MISSION FIELDS SCHOOL:

  • Pray that the students and pupils in EMS CHILDREN/MISSION FIELDS SCHOOL will recognize their need for a vibrant and intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus.
  • Pray for God’s continued provision for needs of these schools. Pray also for the teachers, that they would remain steadfast in their spiritual walk, be renewed daily, and exemplify Christ in their daily lives.

THURSDAY 23RD EMS TRAVEL UNIT: Ask the Lord to guide and protect EMS drivers from accidents and keep them free from harm to body and soul on their journeys this last quarter of the year. Pray that He would support them with His grace when they are tired and also help them to be patient in any trouble which may come their way. Ask that He keep them always mindful of His presence and love.

FRIDAY 24TH EMS MISSIONARY KIDS: Ask God to fill the heart of EMKs whose parents work among Muslims with a deep, genuine, sacrificial love for Muslims. Ask the Lord to protect their heart from tricks to convert them to Islam, especially the missionary daughters.

SATURDAY 25TH EMS SUPPORTERS: Ask the Lord to grant healing to all EMS supporters at every level who are currently suffering ill health. Pray that the Lord will increase upon all supporters the perseverance to stay committed to praying and giving for the work of missions and that God’s blessings will increase upon the work of their hands and on their families.

WEEK FIVE: FOCUS ON OTHER EMS MISSION ARMS

SUNDAY 26TH ECWA GAMBIA:

  • Praise God for the progress of work recorded in the Gambian mission fields under the coordination of Rev. Turba Yohana.
  • There is an urgent need to send two missionaries as soon as possible to the Gambia in order to meet up with pressing mission needs: one to replace Pastor Chammang in Barra and the other to handle Brikama mission station. Pray for God’s leadership in all of the recruitment and replacement processes.
  • Three missionaries are to be brought from the Gambian fields to Nigeria for a theological and health-related training for more effective work in the Gambia. Pray for God’s blessings on Honorable Jagaba and Maitama Ministers’ Hill Church who have carried it upon themselves to sponsor these three missionaries for this training.

MONDAY 27TH ZAMBIA:

  • Thank God for healing Rev. Kuzasuwat, the Zambian Coordinator, he had some health challenges but God delivered him.
  • Thank God for His faithfulness and for what He is doing in the churches being planted in Kitwe and Kabwe through the ministry of George Mwila in Zambia. Ask the Lord to encourage George as his parents are not in accord with him regarding being in the ministry.
  • Thank God for the volunteers working in Zambia. The Lord is helping them to exercise faith in meeting their needs and teaching them patience to wait for more growth in the ministry God has called them for.
  • Pray for Aubrey, he is our volunteer in Lusaka Zambia, he is facing the challenge of accommodation at the moment.

TUESDAY 28TH GHANA: Thank God for providing Past. Job Noom an opportunity to study theology; he is one of the potential leaders of the church in Ghana. Pray for him to be faithful in his studies and that the Lord would equip him for greater service in the near future.

WEDNESDAY 29TH ECWA MALI CHURCH: Please continue praying for the completion of the permanent site of ECWA Mali which foundation-laying has been done. Pray for provision of finances and needed building materials for the project.

THURSDAY 30TH ECWA CHAD REPUBLIC:

  • Pray for the speedy signing of ECWA Niger Republic documents by the respective government ministries toward getting our operational permit.
  • ECWA Maradi is in dire need of musical instruments. Pray for God’s provision towards meeting these needs soon.

TUESDAY 3RD
Praise God for the successful wedding of Pastor Ouedr’aogo Jean Mari in Burkina Faso which was the first in ECWA Ouagadougou. Ask the Lord to sustain this new home in righteousness.
WEDNESDAY 4TH
  • Praise God for the safety he has granted the EMS House of Hope consultant, Peter Fretheim, back to Nigeria.
  • Praise God for the completion of the EMS House of Hope girls’ permanent site in Bassa and success of their packing to the building. Ask the Lord to bless everyone that contributed towards this project.
THURSDAY 5TH
Praise God for a successful mission trip embarked upon to Agingi by DCC leaders, supporters, coordinators, and mission-minded individuals in the North Central Region as was prayed for last month on the 14th in this bulletin. Pray that the impact of this trip would yield positive and lasting results in the region.
FRIDAY 6TH
Peter M. Mutunga, the EMS missionary to Kenya, reported how his wife, Mary, shared the Gospel with some women. While she was talking about forgiveness, one of the women, who has been looking for a church to worship with, concluded that she finally found a place to go. One day while on visit to that particular woman, her husband also came to accept Christ as his Savior. This has encouraged the Mutungas to continue their ministry with joy. Praise God for adding a family to the Kenyan church.
SATURDAY 7TH
Praise God for the ministry strategy of Call of Hope in partnership with EMS. Last month they gave out 40 live goats to brethren in four EMS stations across the Far North Region: Dandume and Bakori in Tsiga DCC, Gidan Bris in Katsina DCC and Kayarda in Kana DCC as a means of empowerment for the brethren in these stations.
WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS

SUNDAY 8TH
CENTRAL REGION GARKI: Ask the Lord to grant wisdom for the regional coordinator and his missionaries as they plan and strategize on how to effectively reach out to the Bassa people group of Lokoja in five unreached communities.
MONDAY 9TH
FAR NORTH REGION – MALUMFASHI: Let’s not relent in praying for the safety of our missionaries and their members, especially in rural mission fields. Ask God to comfort the family of Aukusa and the church members of EMS station Banema. Aukusa was brutally murdered by unknown armed men. Also pray that his murderers will encounter the Lord.
TUESDAY 10TH
NORTH EAST REGION- GOMBE
  • The EMS mission stations in Kurjale and Zanifawa are in dire need of roofing materials to roof their church building. Ask the Lord to grant them open doors to enable them to meet this need.
  • Let’s keep praying for God’s divine protection and encouragement for missionaries and pastors working in the Borno areas as they are faced with recurrent terrorist attacks, especially in the villages.
WEDNESDAY 11TH
FAR NORTH REGION – MALUMFASHI: Pray for God’s intervention over the threats of armed robbery, kidnapping and thieves faced by missionaries, especially those working in the interior places of this region. Most recent of such attacks is that of Tuku village in Tudun Wada Dankadai, Kano where some women were kidnapped and valuables taken, but glory be to God the women were released, though on ransom.
THURSDAY 12TH
NORTH WEST REGION – KADUNA: Seven passionate individuals in Kasuwan Magani DCC have indicated interest to pick up the support of EMS missionaries, thereby adding to the number of supporters in this region. Ask the Lord to bless them on every side and also enable them to be committed to this mandate of supporting. Also pray for other new and old supporters from other regions for more of God provisions and blessings on their families.
FRIDAY 13TH
SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION: Yamel DCC Coordinator is in dire need of a motor bike to enhance his work of supervision and mission generally. Ask the Lord to grant him the needed resources.
SATURDAY 14TH
NORTH CENTRAL REGION:
  • Pray for God’s provisions for some supporters in this region who had to withdraw their support due to economic challenges.
  • Let’s keep praying for God’s provision to enable the pickup of the regional coordinator’s official apartment building project soon.
WEEK THREE – FOCUS ON OTHER EMS MISSION ARMS

EMS SPORT UNIT:
  • Pray for God’s leading on the ongoing plans by EMS sport unit to visit and mobilize the youths in the EMS mission station in Chibok for an evangelistic friendly match aimed at encouraging them and preaching Christ to the unbelievers among them.
  • Let’s not relent in asking the Lord to increase upon Rev. Emanuel Ali, the EMS Sports Ministry Coordinator, wisdom as he makes plans and raises funds for this trip.
MONDAY 16TH
EMS SUPPORTERS: Ask the Lord to grant all EMS supporters grace to live holy lives, worthy of emulation so that they receive their rewards of laboring in this vineyard to the fullest. Let’s keep asking the Lord to increase upon all supporters the perseverance to stay committed and that God’s blessings will increase upon the work of their hands.
TUESDAY 17TH
EMS CRISES RELIEF & PROJECT UNIT:
  • Pray for wisdom on Brother Mark Na’ah, EMS Crises Relief & Project Coordinator, as he plans, strategizes and makes proposals on how to raise support meant for crises victims in 2018.
  • Pray for safety for Mark as he travels to carry out assignments.
  • Let’s keep praying for God to provide resources needed by EMS to reach out to its targeted areas of crises victims around Nigeria.
WEDNESDAY 18TH
EMS MEDICAL UNIT:
  • Pray for God’s healing on: Mrs. Daniel Bello (operated upon), Mrs. Waziri Jock, Miss Hannah Safa Atumga and Mrs. Musa M. Mato who was injected with an expired injection which resulted in injury.
  • Let’s not relent in praying for EMS missionaries and their family members who are suffering from poor health.
THURSDAY 19TH
EMS TRAINING UNIT: From the 2nd of October until the 28th of November 2017, EMS training unit has scheduled to undertake several major programs, including the interview/recruitment of new missionaries, new missionary orientation, EMS retirees’ seminar, etc. Pray for:
  • Safety in travels
  • Provision of N2,500,000 (two million, five hundred thousand) needed for these programs
  • Wisdom of coordination for Rev. Saleh James, the EMS Training Coordinator.
FRIDAY 20TH
EMS CHILDREN/MISSION FIELD SCHOOLS:
  • Ask the Lord to grant new pupils and students to EMS children schools and to EMS field schools grace to acclimatize with the school environment to enable them to study effectively.
  • Ask the Lord to grant all pupils and students excellent spirits for learning and to make them teachable.
  • Ask the Lord to grant grace to all missionary teachers as they teach these kids effectively.
  • Ask the Lord to provide resources for missionary parents to enable them to pay their children’s school fees for the new academic session.

SATURDAY 21ST
EMS CITY MINISTRIES:

  • Thank God for the success of City Ministries teachers’ training that was held in Gyero. Ask the Lord to grant the participants clarity to put all they learnt into practice.
  • Pray for the new kids brought into the ministry that the staff would be able to minister to them effectively.

SUNDAY 22ND
ECWA BENIN REPUBLIC

  • Thank God for ECWA Fidjosse, Benin Republic Church for their financial aid and commitment to supporting EMS of ECWA Porto Novo field. Ask for more of God’s blessings on this church.
  • Pray with Rev. & Mrs. Sodji Alfred for God’s provision for the sustenance of the two prayer houses and the hospital ministry under their care in Benin Republic.
  • Pray for more opportunities for the Sodjis in Cotonou, Benin Republic to share the Gospel.
  • Pray for the completion of the registration process of ECWA Benin Republic; they are at the last stage of the registration process.

MONDAY 23RD
ECWA BURKINA FASO:

  • Pray for second ECWA Church Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso; they need chairs, zinc and lumber to construct a church batcher for a temporary place of worship.
  • Pray for the spiritual growth of the new converts at Sonre, the second ECWA Church in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
  • Pray for Elise Saiba’s children in Burkina Faso, since their father went to prison in March 2017 they have left school. They were unable to pay for their last term school fees due to the fact that all their family members are Muslim and he is the only Christian. Pray for God to provide support for the payment of his children’s school fees.

TUESDAY 24TH
INAUGURATION OF ECWA MALAWI: The long awaited inauguration trip to Malawi commenced today the 24th. Ask the Lord to grant safety in travels and for the success of the entire program that is expected to last until the 31st October 2017.

WEDNESDAY 25TH
ECWA BURKINA FASO: Since the inception of ECWA Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso Church, Pastor & Mrs. Dauda lIiya have been sponsoring a boy (Dakissaha Fatas) in school with their tithes and offering and now the number of the needy has increased to four (4) children in the Church. They need a total of 120,000 FCFA, equivalent in Naira is about N5O, 000 only, please pray for God to provide towards meeting these needs.

THURSDAY 26TH
ECWA MALI CHURCH:

  • Praise God for the journey mercies granted to Sister Endurance who was rescued from human traffickers in Mali. She safely traveled back from Mali to Delta State, Nigeria and we are trusting God that the EMS missionaries in that area will continue her discipleship to encourage her spiritual growth.
  • Ask that God should grant wisdom and favor as plans are ongoing to send Hamidu to Nigeria for theological training. Pray that God’s will should prevail.
  • Pray that the prison ministry Rev. Amah has embarked upon in Mali will be sustained. The evangelist who volunteered to work with him has finally returned to Nigeria due to hardship in Mali. Pray for God to provide a suitable replacement.

FRIDAY 27TH
ECWA MALI CHURCH:

  • The foundation-laying process of the permanent site of ECWA Mali has begun in earnest to the glory of God; 300,000 FCFA has been spent on 1,011 blocks, iron rods, and 10 bags of cement. Please continue praying for the completion of this project.
  • Rev. Amah’s film ministry in Mali is facing a great setback due to projector malfunction and no good repairers available in Mali; pray for a miracle in that regard please.

SATURDAY 28TH
ECWA CHAD REPUBLIC:

  • Pray for the motivation of EMS missionaries in Niger Republic to keep focused in ministry.
  • Pray for the commitment of ECWA Maradi church members to Christ and the study of God’s Word.
  • Let’s continue to pray and trust God for the recovery of ECWA land in Niamey. Rev Likita reports that to the glory of the Lord, the judge that God has brought our way is able to trace the reality and the validity of the plots of land situated at Hamdallaye.
  • Pray for the speedy signing of ECWA Niger Republic documents by the respective government ministries toward getting our operational permit.
  • ECWA Maradi is in dire need of musical instruments. Pray for God’s provision towards meeting these needs soon.

SUNDAY 29TH
ECWA GHANA:

  • Praise God for several young people who recently dedicated their lives to Christ in Zenu Church in Ghana; ask that they grow in faith and be able to preach Christ to their peers.
  • Praise God for the provision of a motor bike to help Pastor Ribina in his ministry in Tamale Ghana. Ask that God will bless Rev. Dr. Habila Shuaibu and General Bakowhome whom he used to meet that need.
  • The church in Adewukwa is trusting God to embark on a pastorium project; pray for God’s open door.

MONDAY 30TH
ECWA ZAMBIA:

  • George Mwila in Zambia, whom we prayed for last two months, has by God’s grace begun a church and has also secured an accommodation as prayed for. Praise God for answered prayers! Pray that He sustains the mission works in Kabwe and Kapiri.
  • Pray for the city of Ndola, the capital of the copper-belt province in Zambia, a survey was made for church planting.
  • Pray for Mrs. Kuzasuwat in her efforts to reach young girls in some Zambian communities, ask God for wisdom and funds as she teaches them God’s Word and other skills

TUESDAY 31TH

  • ECWA KENYA: Let’s keep praying for Pastor Peter M. Mutunga’s need to buy a land in Utawala and a bus for the ECWA Kenyan School.
  • UGANDA: EMS is passionately praying to send a missionary couple to be part of the Ugandan harvest. Pray that the Lord will raise a mission-minded couple to be sent and for the resources needed for their upkeep.
