Brethren, pray for us (1 Thess 5:25)

 

WEDNESDAY 1st PRAISE GOD: Thank God for seeing us through to the end of 2013. Praise God for a new day, new month and New Year.

THURSDAY 2nd EMS DIRECTOR: Please commit the EMS Director, Rev. Stephen Panya Baba and his entire family into God’s hands as he leads the rest of the management staff in taking crucial decisions that would affect the course of worldwide missions this year and many more years to come

FRIDAY 3rd EMSMANAGEMENT: Pray for all the management staff of the EMS for wisdom, God’s guidance, protection and safety during their journeys. Also commit their families into God’s hands

SATURDAY 4thEMS STAFF:Pray for all the staff of the EMS for God’s protection and for their various needs. Also pray for faithfulness

SUNDAY 5th EMS PROGRAMS: Commit all the EMS programs and activities lined up for this year into God’s hands for the Lord’s blessings.

MONDAY 6th ECWA: The ECWA headquarters and all the departments resume work today after the Christmas and New Year holidays. Please pray for God’s leading and guidance.

 

TUESDAY 7th CENTRAL REGION: Thank God for our supporters. We have successfully paid the November and December Salaries of all the missionaries in this region. Thank God for His protection and provision for all our Missionaries. Also thank God for saving the life of the regional Coordinator, Rev. Yohanna Turba that was attacked by armed robbers on 27/11/2013. Thank God for saving the life of Pastor Mohammed Labang from an accident on 17/11/2013.

WEDNESDAY 8th  NORTH WEST REGION: Thank God for the new converts and those that rededicated their lives last month. Thank God, our missionaries’ salaries for last month were paid. Thank God for Engr. Bawa Magaji that donated ₦136,000 for the EMS Children School in Kufana. Thank God for the success of  one of the missionaries Pastor Bulus Bala’s wedding on 23/11/2013.

THURSDAY 9th FAR NORTH REGION: Thank God for the 74 new converts and 115 people that amended their lives with God last month. Thank God again for his divine protection over our lives throughout this year. Pray that God would provide money to rebuild the prayer houses and the missionary’s apartment that were destroyed by rain storm.   

FRIDAY 10thSOUTH WEST REGION: Pray for a new station to be opened in Ora-Ago DCC where there are many Hause/Fulanis that are yet to be reached with the gospel message. Pray for more supporters in this region.

SATURDAY 11thMID-CENTRAL REGION: Thank God for the 27 converts and 87 people that amended their ways last month. Pray for their spiritual growth and maturity. Pray for the Spirit of commitment of our missionaries so that they can be more effective in their ministries.

SUNDAY 12th  MID CENTRAL REGION: Pray for God’s opened doors and provisions. Most of our supporters have finished paying their 2013 support. Pray for God’s leading to Kwassam DCC as they focus on Kitimi tribe with a view to planting a church amongst this people group. Thank God for preserving the life of the wife of our retired missionary Mrs. Sabo Kurah in a ghastly motor accident. She is being treated at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH). Pray for her complete healing please.

MONDAY 13th  NORTH-EAST REGION: Please continue to prayer for the EMS North East Regional Coordinator Rev. Zakka Ma’aji who lost his wife in a ghastly motor accident. Pray for God’s comfort for him and children.

TUESDAY 14thNORTH CENTRAL REGION: Thank God for the relief materials sponsored by Help From The Bethren for this very distressed region which were given to victims of crisis in Yelwa DCC. Thank God for adding 2 new supporters to the Region. Pray for means of mobility for EMS Coordinator in Jos DCC, Bukuru DCC and Yelwa DCC.

WEDNESDAY 15thNORTH CENTRAL REGION: Pray for God’s peace to reign in Yelwa DCC as people are being attacked in villages almost daily. Pray for God’s provision of fund to buy lands in our various mission fields. We are in dire need of more missionaries in this region. Please pray.

THURSDAY 16thMID EAST REGION: Thank God, we paid all our missionaries’ salaries in this region last month. Thank God for journey mercies. Thank God for the Classrroms building project of EMS Missions Field School Azharuma that is now at the lintel level.

FRIDAY 17thSOUTH EAST REGION: Thank God for the 95 people that heard the gospel message and 14 new converts last month. Thank God Jibrim, a Muslim who gave his life to Christ. He has been sent to Jos for discipleship. Thank God for a successful outreach at Nkputenim and Eket, 35 people gave their lives to Christ.

SATURDAY 18thSOUTH EAST REGION: In our new station at Ngor Okpala, 11 people were newly baptized. Thank God for sparing all our Missionaries and their families’ lives. Continue to pray for us for God to provide for us to finish the payment of the land at Ikot Ekpene. Thank God for the successful inauguration of South East Mission Committee. Pray that it will bring improvement in the region.

SUNDAY 19thCITY MINISTRIES: Thank God for a cash donation of ₦300,000. Pray that God will open doors for enough grains this year. Thank God for a Trauma healing fish pond at Gyero care center built at the cost of ₦240,000.00 by a staff of search for common ground (Ema Miroslara Billings).

MONDAY 20th CROSS BORDERS MISSIONS: TOGO: Praise God for the lives of all the EMS missionaries and their families for God's divine favour, protection and provision. Thank God for the purchase of the land for ECWA at Atakpame. Thank God for providing money for ECWA Albarka church building project, in Wahala Village. The wall has been completed and roofed. The doors and windows have been fixed. Pray for the unreached to be reached through the power of the Holy Spirit.

TUESDAY  21st  CROSS BORDERS MISSIONS: GAMBIA: Praise God for the Church in Banjul and safe delivery of women who were expecting babies. One just had a baby after nineteen years of marriage. Praise God for the safe delivery of the wife of our missionary Pastor Mousa after six years of marriage without a baby. Praise God for the provision of musical instruments to the Church by one of the church members. Praise God for the successes of outreach in Banjul and Barra. Pray for the new converts to grow in the Lord.

WEDNESDAY 22st CROSS BORDERS MISSIONS: CAMEROUN: Praise God for the Rev. Tanimu and family. The Lord has faithful in helping them in their ministry. Pray for the new converts for spiritual growth. Pray for their Radio ministry.

THURSDAY 23rd CROSS BORDERS MISSIONS: Pray for the recruitment exercise that will take place later this month that God will choose men after His own heart. Also pray for the preparation of the Inauguration of ECWA in the Gambia that God will give us success.

FRIDAY 24th SPORTS FRIENDS: Pray for the on – going discipleship class that is going on with the teams. Pray for the North West and North East for the preparation of basic training that is coming up later this year.

SATURDAY 25th EW ASSIGNMENTS: Pray for Rev. Dr. Bakari Ibrahim as he resumes as the newly appointed EMS administrator. Pray too for Rev Titus Turaki, as he takes over from Rev. Dr. Bakari, as the EMS Schools Services Coordinator. Pray also for Rev. Zaure Galadima who is now the Home Missions Coordinator, while Rev. (Dr) Garba Zanbuk takes over as Training Coordinator.

SUNDAY 26th EMS CHILDREN’S SCHOOLS: Pray for the staff and the school children. Also pray so that God would meet all their needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Continue to pray for God to provide for the building of a new classroom block estimated to cost about N7.5m (Seven Million, five hundred thousand naira only).

MONDAY 27th FIELD MISSION: Pray for all the EMS field missionaries and members of their families. Pray as they face power encounter and other spiritual warfare challenges in the various fields field.

TUESDAY 28th PRAYER AND FASTING The EMS family is praying and fasting today. Please join us.

WEDNESDAY 29th RETIREES: Pray for EMS retirees. Pray for good health, strength, protection, divine provisions and long life. Pray that the Lord will lead the management aright in developing a welfare scheme for them.

THURSDAY 30th EMS SUPPORTERS: Pray that God will bless and protect EMS supporters and all the members of their families.

FRIDAY 31st PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING: Today is the end of the month. Praise the LORD and give thanks for seeing us through. PRAISE THE LORD!
