WEEK ONE-FOCUS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING
“Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever”. Psalm 106:1
 
THURSDAY 1ST Thank God for the visit of Sunday Bala Oma Founder of Sunday Bala Oma Foundation (SBOF) to ECWA Ghana, and for the success of the 3 days gospel campaign that was held during the visit. Pray that God will sustain the faith of the 6 people who gave their lives to Christ during the campaign.
FRIDAY 2ND Praise God for the New Mission station that was started in Dawheya Community of Ghana. Pray that the Lord will sustain this new station and also increase it spiritually and numerically.
SATURDAY 3RD Praise God for the ministry of Pas. & Mrs. Mutunga our EMS missionaries in Kenya. Thank God for the success of the crusade that was held by them and pray that the Lord will continue to water the seed that was planted to grow.
SUNDAY 4TH ECWA Church Zambia clocked one year in July 2016. Praise God for his faithfulness in the lives of our missionaries, (Rev & Mrs. Kuzasuwat) in making the church grow. Continue to pray for the church members’ spiritual growth.

FIRST (1ST) MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS TO BE OBSERVED NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY AS EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY. THERERFORE, ALL EMS ARMS, MISSIONARIES, OFFICE STAFF, PRAYER PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS SHOULD PLEASE ENDEAVOR TO JOIN THE EMS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN PRAYERS. AS WE JOIN FAITH AND TRUST GOD IN ONE ACCORD WITH BRETHREN AROUND THE WORLD FOR A STEADY AND A FRUITFUL GROWTH OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD, PEACE AND THE SALVATION OF NATIONS, FOR REVIVAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF THE CHURCH. OUR COOPERATE PRAYER TIME AT THE HEAD OFFICE, IS 8-9AM, 12-1PM, AND 4-5PM RESPECTIVELY. YOU CAN JOIN US IN PRAYERS WHEREVER YOU MAY BE AT THOSE TIMES OR MAKE OUT TIME OF YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE AS YOU ARE LED TO BY GOD. PLEASE. JUST BE SURE TO PRAY ALONG AS YOU FAST.
MONDAY 5TH Praise God for the gift of a bouncing baby boy to the family of Pas. Sule Ibrahim, our EMS missionary in Akwanga, Mideast region of Nigeria. Pray that God would visit EMS families that are trusting God for the blessing of Children.
TUESDAY 6TH Thank God for the consistent increase in the membership of ECWA Gospel Ombi 1. Thank God also for the provision of a permanent place of worship which has been a long time prayer point. Glory be to God.
WEDNESDAY 7TH Praise God for the 957 converts made in the month of July, 2016 in our EMS Cross-Borders and Home Mission stations. Pray that the Lord would sustain them in the faith and also give them the grace to be fruitful witnesses of our Lord Jesus Christ.
THURSDAY 8TH Praise God for a successful missionaries’ wives seminar that was held in New Karu DCC, Central Region Abuja. Pray also that God would help the participants to apply the lessons learned during the seminar. Pray for God to help them to continue to support their husbands in the mission fields.
FRIDAY 9TH Praise God for protecting the Tanimu’s our missionaries in Niger from the stink of scorpions some days after their arrival to Maza Tsaye compound in Maradi. About three times, they have found these creatures moving around in the rooms. Continue to pray for God’s protection on them as they continue to share the gospel.
SATURDAY 10TH Praise God for the healing of an old Muslim follower in Niger Republic who later accepted the Jesus as Lord as a result of God answering the prayer of his servant Pastor Samaila Hamidou. Continue to pray that more people will turn to Christ because of his testimony.
WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON EMS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE AND HOME MISSION FIELDS
“Those who manifest wisdom will shine like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars for ever and ever”. Daniel 12:3
SUNDAY 11TH ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE STAFF: Pray for the EMS Director, the Administrator, Management staff and all the office staff to put on the full Armor of God daily, by using it to resist the activities of the evil one. Ask God to help them stand their ground, by holding to the word of God which is the belt of truth. Pray that their feet will be fitted with the gospel of peace, so that they will be fully prepared. Ask the Lord to arm them with faith as shield to stop the fiery arrows of the enemy. Pray that they will put on their helmet of salvation, and to take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. (Ephesians 6:13-17).
MONDAY 12TH EMS MIDICAL UNIT: Pray for God’s healing on the following missionaries: Rev. Ayuba Kukwi who had a surgery and Rev. Rabo Kanti who suffers from a kidney problem. Pray for God’s comfort for the family of late Pastor Lama our EMS missionary who has gone to be with the Lord.
TUESDAY 13TH EMS CHILDREN/MISSION FIELDS SCHOOLS: Praise God for the successful academic year which both staff and students had. Pray that the new 2016/2017 session will be a fruitful one for pupils, students and staff alike. Praise God for using Rev. Dr. and Mrs Lee's to build EMS Unity School at Rhizha which will commence fully this 2016/2017 Academic Session. Pray that the hand of God will be upon the school to enable it serves as a great means of reaching out to the community.
WEDNESDAY14TH EMS MISSIONARY CHILDREN: Pray that God will help them to learn to stand strong in the face of the storms of life.
  • Pray that they would show love instead of revenge on those who hate and tempt them.
  • Pray that their lives will show the light of Jesus to this dark world as they support their parents in ministry.
  • Ask the Lord to give them strength to persevere through any storm or troubles that come their way every day.
THURSDAY 15TH EMS CITY MIISTRY (HOUSE OF HOPE/GIDAN BEGE): Nehemia Murabus, one of the adopted boys from Kaduna Center, has answered the call of God to be trained into full time Ministry, has now gained admission into Jos ECWA Theological Seminary (JETS). Pray for God’s provision towards the success of his theological training. Also pray for more grace on all City ministry staff as they work selflessly to impact the lives of boys and girls in the love of Christ.
FRIDAY 16TH SUPPORTERS AND DONORS: Despite the increasing economic challenges in Nigeria, EMS supporters are never relenting in their commitment to support both in cash and in kind. To the glory of God, we still have more people who are indicating interest to be part of what God is doing through EMS. Pray for God’s increasing blessings on all our partners and for God’s grace on all the new partners live to their commitment.
SATURDAY 17TH FAR-NORTH REGION Despite the increase of persecutions on the Church in the Far Northern states of Nigeria, the gospel by God’s grace is consistently gaining grounds with converts increasingly being recorded from our various mission fields. Pray that the Lord will keep revealing himself to unbelievers in the Far-North. Also pray for financial open doors to meet the urgent needs of motorcycles to facilitate the work of the EMS missionaries that are working in the rural areas of the Region.
WEEK THREE – FOCUS ON CROSS BOARDERS MISSION FIELDS
"I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” Luke 4:43-44 NIV
 
SUNDAY 18TH: BENIN REPUBLIC:
  • Praise God for the growth of the Church in Benin Republic as members are engaging themselves more with the things of God.
  • The two worship Centers in Cotonou are becoming too small for them, pray that God will provide new places for Sunday Church services.
MONDAY 19TH BENIN REPUBLIC
  • Pray that the government of Benin Republic will finalized the registration process of "ECWA Benin Republic” so that the Church can be officially inaugurated soonest.
  • The need for a video projector is so dare for the ministry work of Pastor Sodji, pray that God will provide for this need to be met.
TUESDAY 20TH KENYA
  • Pray for the growth of the ministry school that was stated by Pastor. & Mrs. Mutunga. Pray that this school will continuously serve as a platform by which many will be saved.
  • Pray that God will send workers to help plant Churches in areas identified for church planting in Kenya.
  • Pray for God's provision of funds for the purchase of Church lands and for church buildings.
WEDNESDAY 21ST MALI The conversion of Hamidou Guirou, initially brought about the separation from his wife. Her returns and conversion has been a great prayer concern to us. To the glory of God his wife is now back with him. Let’s keep trusting God to reveal himself to her and also for Hamidou to stand firm as he was baptized on the 29th of July, 2016, by Pastor. Amah-Kabong and is now undergoing discipleship class. This couple though the wife not yet a Christian had agreed to invite the missionary into their compound house to teach them English and to start another ECWA Church in Niamakoro Cite, Bamako, Mali. Pray for God to perfect this great ministry opening for the glory of His Name.
THURSDAY 22ND MALI
  • Pastor & Mrs. Amah-Kabong were given a space for temporal Church building and they were able to make a batcher Sunday service which cost them ( 140,000 FCFA ), however they are still trusting God for about 250,000 FCFA, for fencing, benches and flooring. Please pray for God's provision.
  • Pastor & Mrs. Amah are trusting God for some educational material (ACE) if possible, to enable them handle the formal English/Discipleship school program. They are also trusting God to run it in the community where they were giving a place to start a new church. This they believe will enable them reach out to the students with the gospel in the area. Pray for God’s provision towards meeting this need.
FRIDAY 23RD GHANA
  • Praise God for the progress of the new Prayer House which was started in Dawheya on June 5th, 2016.
  • Mrs. Catharine Nadabo, the wife of our EMS missionary in Ghana has been granted admission to study in the University of Ghana. Pray for God’s provision of the sum of $6,800.00 to enable her run the program.
SATURDAY 24TH GHANA
  • Pray for the Ghana Church land recovery, right now the issue is in court because our portion of the land, 3.7 acres is part of the 500 acres that are under dispute at the moment. Also pray for the recovery of rent payment from the Land Lord who took advantage of our missionary which is equally in the court at the moment.
  • All plans are set for Pastor and Mrs. Nadabo to start a mission school in Zenu for the children in the community. For the mean time, they are trusting God for N1.5m to pay for the rented property first two years. Pray for God’s provision towards meeting this need please.
WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON THE NATIONS, CHURCH GROWTH AND REVIVAL
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord” (Acts 3:19).
SUNDAY 25TH CHURCH LEADERS: Pray for Church leaders at every level, especially Pastors remain faithful to God and to His Church. Pray that they will always seek God’s direction in their endeavors in church. Pray that they will be faithful in their commitments, wives, families, and co-ministers. Pray that the Lord will help them to be faithful in proclaiming His name in carrying out the Great Commission.
MONDAY 26TH CHRISTIAN HOMES: Thank God for His blessings upon Christian homes. Ask Him to bring broken home back to unity through Christ. Also pray that God will expose all the hidden things in darkness that are causing disunity in the homes. Ask that God will lead us into His perfect truth and help us to be families He intend us to be, and to help us to be a blessing to one another and to others outside our home.Pray that He grants us compassionate hearts, fill us with His love that does not keep records of wrong, and bring joy to our hearts when we think of one another in Jesus name, Amen.
TUESDAY 27TH NIGERIA: Ask the Lord to bless Nigeria, to give all the rulers and authorities at every level His knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Helping them to fear and honor Him by rendering justice to our people. Pray that God will deliver Nigeria and the Church from the forces of darkness.
WEDNESDAY 28TH PRAYER FOR MUSLIMS: -Ask the Lord to revive “His Church” in Nigeria to wake up to its responsibility and gives her courage to proclaim the Gospel to the Muslims. Pray that we will not fear the consequences of faithfully taking the Gospel to those who desperately need God’s grace. Also, Pray for more Muslims to have encounter with Jesus through dreams and visions, Pray particularly for Muslims who go on pilgrimage to Mecca every year for personal encounter with Jesus Christ.
THURSDAY 29TH MRS. SARAH SAMUEL: Thank God for the life and family of Mrs. Sarah Samuel Dayer the EMS Internal Auditor. Pray that the Lord would increase upon her the grace, wisdom and strength to function effectively in this capacity. Also pray for God’s financial provision to enable her complete her studies and her building project.
FRIDAY 30TH EMS HEAD OFFICE SECURITIES: Thank God for the lives and safety of all our securities. Pray that the Lord would increase upon them the grace, wisdom and strength to function effectively in this capacity.
MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU FOR STANDING IN THE GAP IN PRAYER WITH US THROUGH THIS MONTH!!!
