The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness. Rom. 1:18

Wrath is one attribute of God that many do not want to dwell on and consider a misfit for God. God’s attributes are interconnected, and you cannot separate one from the other. They are a chain; everything falls apart once you break one link. A definition of wrath is violent anger or righteous indignation. God’s anger is directly related to His Holiness, Righteousness, Justice, etc. He directs His wrath on those who reject Him and keep living in defiance of His Words. He has a right over us because He created us for Himself to do His will, as we learned last week. Our justification by the blood of Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:9) means that we will not have to face the wrath of God. Thank God for that! However, He will discipline us when we are out of step with His will because He loves us. Tell people the good news to save the lost from the coming wrath.
