Simple Gospel Truth Averting the Hour of Darkness | A Thirst for Revival | Josh 5:13-15 | August 30, 2020

Dedicated to the Lord’s Remnants in United States who are crying for Revival. There is HOPE.

Joshua 5:13-15 New Living Translation (NLT)

The Lord’s Commander Confronts Joshua
13 When Joshua was near the town of Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with sword in hand. Joshua went up to him and demanded, “Are you friend or foe?”

14 “Neither one,” he replied. “I am the commander of the Lord’s army.”

At this, Joshua fell with his face to the ground in reverence. “I am at your command,” Joshua said. “What do you want your servant to do?”

15 The commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did as he was told.

A proud man always believes the problem lies somewhere else. He will receive little attention from the Almighty. But God dwells with the contrite and lowly of spirit. He is deeply moved by men who understand that God is both Judge and Forgiver, and that He is perfect in both roles.

As you pray today, cry from the depth of your heart with acknowledgment of your sins along with grateful thanksgiving for His forgiveness.
