The ECWA President, Rev. (Dr.) Stephen Baba Panya, ECWA General Secretary, Rev. Yunusa Sabo Nmadu jr, and five others were presented with honorary doctorate degrees from the Jos ECWA Theological Seminary during JETS Graduation on Saturday, December 4, 2021. General T. Y. Danjuma, Eze Chukwuemeka-Eri, the Ezeora 34th and Akajiovo Igbo, the Executive Secretary, TETFUND, Prof. Suleiman Elias Bogoro, Major General Daniel Arum Bako, and Barrister Mrs. Deborah Usman were also presented with honorary doctorate degrees during the ceremony.
JETS Provost, Rev. Prof. Sunday Bobai Agang, thanked God for successfully hosting the graduation ceremony this year since it could not be held last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong, (represented by his commissioner) urged the graduates to continue to maintain a high standard of education and promised a cooperation with the church in working towards the development of the nation.
There were several representatives from around the world; USA, Canada, South Africa, Kenya, Botswana and Ethiopia, who witnessed the ceremony in person.
