by Rev. Sunday Bwanhot | God did not just claim that He created heaven and earth and everything in them, He let us know details of what He created, the order of creation and even why He created everything.

I“n the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” Gen. 1:1. This is a definitive and non-controversial statement of fact. The beginning referred to here is when God spoke matter and time into existence. God Himself has always been before time and matter and so it is futile to try to figure out God on the basis of time and matter. We may argue about the Big Bang and Evolution theories, but we cannot dismiss the existence of God when we have not found any explanation to how matter and time began.

God did not just claim that He created heaven and earth and everything in them, He let us know details of what He created, the order of creation and even why He created everything. Here are two out of many reasons to validate that God created all things. One, He is the only one who has authority over everything in existence. He commands the storms to cease, parted the Red Sea and Jordan River, stopped fire from consuming the three Hebrew young men, healed the sick, raised the dead, etc. Two, He has clearly told us what is going to happen to His creation. The current heaven and earth and everything in them will be burnt up and disappear and He will create a new Heaven and a New Earth. God has 100% track record of doing everything He has promised to do. Only a fool, as the Bible declares will say there is no God. The evidence is there.
