The Scripture confirms God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, as the Creators. “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. …And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:1,2

A Lesson From the Creator

God the Father is Creator: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Gen. 1:1 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Rev. 4:11.

God the Son is Creator: “Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.” John 1:3 “For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.” Col. 1:16.

God the Spirit is Creator: “When you send your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground.” Ps 104:30 “The Spirit of God has made me, the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” Job 33:4.

These six references among others affirm that God is the Creator. Even if we had only one reference in the Bible affirming God as Creator we should be satisfied because God is trustworthy. We have three witnesses: God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, all confirm that God is the Creator. The act of creation reveals the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and how they work as One. The Godhead is One in three and three in One. Every act of God is performed by the three in unity and one accord without strife or competition but in honor and exaltation of each other.

Lord, bring the day when your Church will be united and be one. Amen!
