God has revealed all that we need to know in the Bible. He did not forget anything, and nothing new has popped up that will require the Bible to be updated. Our verse for today is one that every Christian must cherish and work with because it is a guide to resolving specific issues each one of us has to deal with that the Bible does not address directly. Many want to know the will of God regarding specific issues in their lives. When we apply this verse, Philippians 4:8, to the issues we are dealing with, we will discover the will of God pertaining to the situation. An honest evaluation of the issue is necessary, and sometimes, you may need other Christians to help you through the process.

Is it true, is it a noble thing, is it right, is it pure, is it lovely, is it admirable, is it excellent and praiseworthy? If all your answers are in the affirmative, then you can safely conclude that it is the will of God. Apply this principle today and see how easy it is to discover the will of God in your life.
