WEEK ONE-FOCUS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING
“ Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness”. Ps. 150:2.NIV
 
SUNDAY 1ST Give thanks to the Lord for the success of Programs held in last month (April) by EMS headquarters, coordinators, and missionaries in various Mission Fields across the country and abroad. Worship Him for the bountiful Harvest of Souls recorded through these Programs.
NOTE: WE ARE FASTING TOMORROW!
FIRST (1ST) MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS TO BE OBSERVED NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY AS EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY. ALL EMS ARMS, MISSIONARIES, OFFICE STAFF, PRAYER PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS SHOULD PLEASE ENDEAVOR TO JOIN THE EMS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN PRAYERS AS WE TRUST GOD TO BE JOINING FAITH IN ONE ACCORD WITH BRETHREN AROUND THE WORLD IN PRAYERS FOR A STEADY AND A FRUITFUL GROWTH OF EMS, PEACE AND THE SALVATION OF NATIONS, AND FOR REVIVAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF THE CHURCH. OUR COPERATE PRAYER TIME AT THE HEAD OFFICE, IS 8-9AM, 12-1PM, AND 4-5PM RESPECTIVELY. YOU CAN JOIN US IN PRAYERS WHEREVER YOU MAY BE AT THOSE TIMES OR MAKE OUT TIME OF YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE PLEASE AS YOU ARE LED TO BY GOD. JUST BE SURE TO PRAY ALONG AS YOU FAST.

MONDAY 2ND Worship God for the completion of the multipurpose science laboratory for the Secondary section of EMS Children School Jos.
 
TEUSDAY 3RD Praise God for the provisions of funds for the purchase of a land for the Church in Zambia. Pray for more openings for the building project.
 
WEDNESDAY 4TH Thank God for the fruitful result we are experiencing in our Malawi Church. Praise Him for 70 plastic chairs that were donated to the Church by the Fellowship Bible Church. Appreciate Him for the three (3) people who gave their lives to Christ and were baptized on 4th April 2016; Pray for God’s sustaining grace on them as they serve Him selflessly.
 
THURSDAY 5TH Mr. Moses Munyenyemre was among those God used to aid Zambian ECWA Church registration but he backslided and stopped going to Church for long. He was so engrossed with his business, until recently God allowed him to be faced with some challenges, which has made him to seek for the Lord. During these trying times, both him and his wife rededicate their lives to Christ and are now back to the Church. Praise God for His grace upon them and pray that the Lord should sustained them in their work with Him.
 
FRIDAY 6TH Pastor Haruna Garba, EMS Niger Republic National Coordinator had a very terrible accident with his wife whereby she lost ten (10) of her teeth. As a diabetes patient, people lost hope and were just waiting for her departure due to her critical' condition, her healing was indeed a miracle because people that saw her during the accident never believed she could live again. However, the Lord God Almighty manifested his healing power by healing her. By God’s infinite mercy the ten teeth were fixed back and she is recovering speedily.
 
SATURDAY 7TH Praise God for restoring two backsliding members of Dakoro station in Niger Republic. Thank God, for the vehicle provided by ECWA Wuse2 for Mission work in Niger Republic. Pray for God’s
Blessings and increasing grace on this Church as they continue to prove committed to missions.
WEEK TWO-FOCUS IS ON EMS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE AND HOME MISSION FIELDS
“Woe unto me if I preach not the gospel” I Cor.9:16
SUNDAY 8TH SOUTH-WEST REGION -ILORIN: – Pray for Rev. Oladipo C, Taiwo the regional Coordinator and Missionaries working under him for more of God’s grace to be able to
contextualize and preach the very WORD of God without any form of syncretism.
SOUTH-EAST REGION -UMUAHIA: – Pray for the Holy Spirit’s conviction and conversion of the seekers of truth among the Muslim community of Lokpa Community.
 
MONDAY 9TH CENTRAL REGION-GARKI:- Pray against the spirit of malice, strive, unforgiven and luke warmness in all of our mission stations in this region.
MID-EAST-LAFIA:-Pray for God’s sustaining grace on the following new converts: Umi, Anti, Belkisu, Murna, Kaba’don, Hannatu and Happy. Pray for God’s healing on Mrs. Joseph S. Bama
and Mrs. Tanimu M. Hodi who currently suffer kidney infection.
 
TUESDAY 10TH NORTH CENTRAL-JOS:-Pray for God’s strength and comfort on the family of Engr. Philip Ali, a committed EMS supporter who lost his wife recently.
EMS SCHOOLS: – Efforts are ongoing for the formal registration of EMS Children School Lakweme in Gombe State and Kufana in Kaduna state with the ministry of Education, pray for
God's favor and for financial openings towards the success of the registration processes.

WEDNESDAY 11TH NORTH EAST, GOMBE: Pray for Muslims seeking to know Christ in this region that the Lord will enable them take a bold step towards making that decision.
SOUTH NORTH EAST, TARABA: – Pray for God’s speedy healing on Rev. Emanuel Wada the DCC coordinator of Yamel who is tested positive to Hepatitis C and is currently undergoing treatment.
Let us keep praying for God’s provision towards the purchase of church lands in Lappo, Gurgu, Maisamari, Kogin Baba, M-Kunini, Damare and Binari mission stations.

THURSDAY 12TH CITY MINISTRY OF EMS: – Praise God for the healing of Iliya Ikre who was knocked down by a car and was prayed for last month. Pray for the healing of Ruth one of the girls at the Gyero
center who sustained injuries from hurt water burn.
  • Pray for God’s sustaining grace on Makurdi center, Lafia center and Kaduna center that have being weaned; also pray for God’s increasing grace and provisions on the other centers that are still dependent on the head office for sustenance.
EMS SPORTS FRIENDS UNIT: – Let us pray for Sport Champions (i.e. Sports friends Missionaries) who are passionately in evangelizing and engaging young people in sports activities and also ministering to
them in our various mission fields; that the Lord should grace them to be able to use this medium to reconcile some of these youths with their parents and to be able to help them find purpose to life.

FRIDAY 13TH FAR NORTH REGION- MALUMFASHI: Pray for Gods healing on Mrs. Ishaya Sani who is struggling with an infection in her eyes. Pray for the provision of building materials
for Sharboyi, Danhabi, Baran Gwaje, G/Babe, and Dayi EMS stations in Kano. Also, pray for God’s financial opening to meet the urgent need of N400, 000 for the purchase of a Church land in
Danlabi Community.
FAR – NORTH-WEST REGION – KALGO:-Pray for Pst. Ishaku Matthew and his family as they hold discipleship classes with new convert in Dogon Doya community that the Lord should shield
them and make their classes’ fruitful.

SATURDAY 14TH: NORTH-WEST REGION-KADUNA:-Pray that the hearts of more missionminded individuals will be stirred towards joining the support or small donors’ team of the North West region.
MID-CENTRAL-KAGORO: – Ask the Lord to grace missionaries in this region to sustain a consistent spiritual life and be fruitful in their ministry work.
WEEK THREE-FOCUS ON CROSS BOARDERS MISSION FIELDS
"I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent." Luke 4:43-44 NIV

SUNDAY 15TH CHAD REPUBLIC: – Pray for God’s financial providence to enable the digging of wells in 22 villages that are in critical need of good water.
MALI:-Pray for financial opening of N5, million to enable us buy the property spotted for ECWA Mali in the central capital city of Bamako.

MONDAY 16TH MALAWI: The churches in Malawi have adopted the translated copy of the book 'from creation to Christ' as their Bible study material and is transforming the lives of the
members of the churches. Pray that the members will live out the word on daily basis as they are being taught to the glory of God and to the growth of the Church. Thank God for the conversion
of Kadewere Chikumbutso, Joel Madanitsa and Dau Keegan; Pray for God’s sustaining grace upon them as they undergo their discipleship classes with Rev. Lazarus Sukukum Joseph.
GHANA:- Pray that the Lord should sustain upon our converts in Ghana mission fields and the Churches the burden for holy living and consistent witnessing.
 
TUESDAY 17TH USA:-Thank God for his increasing grace on Rev. & Mrs. Sunday Bwanhot and Rev. & Mrs Joshua Bogunjoko alongside other ministers who are selflessly laboring in the U.S
Mission stations . Pray that their labor will yield lasting fruits to the glory of God. Also
PRAY:
That every place, which promotes immoral sex in the U.S, should be purged of its demons and it seductive power. Also, that every bar, casino etc. that depends on such immorality
should shut down totally, unless they stop their wickedness. In addition, pray that all negative mindsets about the Bible and the Church should confronted and cast down from their pride.
ISREAL:-Pray for the fruitfulness of the work of EMS in Israel; Pray for Prime Minister Netanyahu and his cabinet for wisdom in dealing with surrounding nations, ISIS, BDS, and
increased tensions between Israel and the EU.

WEDNESDAY 18TH NIGER REPUBLIC: Pray for financial opening to enable us secure the portion of land freely given to us by "Kauje" for ECWA Dan Ango prayer house. And for the temporary
plot of land that was given to us by a Christian -Sabiou on request for a place of worship close to the University where we have our Church in Ali Dan Tsoho community. Moneys are also need for
the building of a tent of worship on this land and for plastic chairs
CAMEROON: Pray against all satanic activities and effort to distract Cameroonians (especially
the youths) from adhering and paying attention to the true gospel.
 
THURSDAY 19TH BENIN REPUBLIC: Praise God for the gradual but sure growth of the church in Benin Republic as members are showing commitment to Christianity and are becoming more
committed in sharing their faith and spreading the word of God among their fellow citizens.
THE GAMBIYA: – Pray that God should help Gambian indeneneous Christians especially the once in our Mission stations, to take their walk with Christ seriously and be committed to Evangelism.
 
FRIDAY 20TH TOGO: Pray for God's providence Of N2, 000.000.00 for the building of Mission Church in Kaboli.
KENYA: – Pray that people of various religions in Kenya should be allowed to live in harmony and peace to enable Christian shear their Faith with non-Christians.

SATURDAY 21ST: BURKINA FASO: Pray for provision of mobility for Pastor Joshua Thomas and for safety for him as he travels to different fields to reach out to the Fulanies.
  • Pray for believers in this country to deal biblically with extreme poverty issues and to overcome a dependence mentality.
ZAMBIA: – Mrs. Kuzasuwat the wife our missionary to Zambia was burdened by the wasted
talents of so many vulnerable girls and she started reaching out to them in Wusakile. Pray for
Wendy, Charity, Luhano, Innes, and Mervis who have joined our Deborah's Generation
Fellowship and are equally members of the church. In addition, Pray that God should sustain the
fellowship that is being nurtured among the taxi drivers in the city of Zambia and for more grace on Rev. Yusuf Kuzasuwat and his family as they labor among these people. Pray for the unity of pastors, churches and denominations in Zambia.
WEEK FOUR-FOCUSES ON THE NATIONS, CHURCH GROWTH AND REVIVAL
SUNDAY 22ND Pray that Christians in politics/Governance were ever they might be found to be spiritually alive and active such that their character, vision, leadership competency and skills are maximized so that they are all that God has called them to be as they contribute to nation building and the building God’s kingdom.
 
MONDAY 23RD Pray that the Ministry and spiritual policies of Evangelical Churches will build a Core foundation in their members for lifetime commitment to living for Christ, personal spiritual life improvement and ministry effectiveness.

TUESDAY 24TH: Pray that God would teach us to make the most of every opportunity to share our salvation and that He should also help us to be the fragrance of Christ to the lost at all times.
 
WEDNESDAY 25TH: Pray for the captives of the insurgence liberated from various camp and for all IDPs for God’s Divine cover, peace and refreshment. Also, pray for the arrested Boko-haram suspects’ that they will encounter Jesus in their detention and confess Him Lord over their lives.

THURSDAY 26TH: Ask the Lord to grant ECWA ministers consistent victory over every strong hold of wickedness that is waging war against their spiritual growth, Ministry fruitfulness and Evangelism.
 
FRIDAY 27TH: Ask the Lord to continuously heal, provide and comfort grieving families who lost friends, relatives, properties and business in the recent Agatu/Fulani clashes in Benue state.
 
SATURDAY 28TH: -Pray against all hidden agendas, and that any attempt to deliberately orchestrate violence between the religious communities of Nigeria would come to nothing. Pray that every evil council that is in existence be destroyed. (Job.5:12-14).
 
SUNDAY 29TH: Pray for ECWA Radio and T.V Ministry for the Holy Spirit's leading, as a lot of work is ongoing for the take-off of this very important ministry.
 
MONDAY 30TH: MR. JOSHUA OMBUGADU:- Thank God for the life of Mr. Ombugadu, the new EMS Accountant who recently been transferred to EMS and for His family. Pray that God should grant him sound health, wisdom and increase upon Him Grace for effective and selfless work in 2016. Also, Pray for God’s comfort on the passing of his two of his relations and for God’s favor and success in his forth-coming Exam.
 
TUESADY 31TH: MR. OZIGI SULE: – Pray that the Lord should increase upon Mr. Ozigi the grace, wisdom and strength to function effectively in his office as the EMS assistant accountant. Also, pray for his family for Gods increasing favor and divine protection.
