WEEK ONE-FOCUS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING
“Yet give attention to your servant's prayer and his plea for mercy, Lord my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day.” 1 Kings 8:28
 
FRIDAY 1ST Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His Name for answered prayers for the need of a motor Bike for John Baptist in Togo Republic and for using the women fellowship of ECWA Wuse II to provide five (5) grinding machines for 5 missionaries in Garki DCC, Central Region.
 
SATURDAY 2ND Thank God for an anonymous woman who donated a fairly used digital Blood Pressure device to EMS Clinic, Jos. We thank God for drugs donation worth of ₦8,000 by ECWA LCB, Ungwan Sunday, Kaduna South DCC, to EMS Children's School, Kufana last month.

SUNDAY 3RD Thank God for the answered prayers and provisions for roofing of the EMS Coordinators house in Yelwa DCC, North Central Region. Pray for God’s blessings upon the donor.
NOTE: WE ARE FASTING TOMORROW
FIRST (1ST) MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS TO BE OBSERVED NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY AS EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY. THERERFORE, ALL EMS ARMS, MISSIONARIES, OFFICE STAFF, PRAYER PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS SHOULD PLEASE ENDEAVOR TO JOIN THE EMS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN PRAYERS. AS WE TRUST GOD TO BE JOINING FAITH IN ONE ACCORD WITH BRETHREN AROUND THE WORLD IN PRAYERS FOR A STEADY AND A FRUITFUL GROWTH OF EMS, PEACE AND THE SALVATION OF NATIONS, AND FOR REVIVAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF THE CHURCH. OUR COOPERATE PRAYER TIME AT THE HEAD OFFICE, IS 8-9AM, 12-1PM, AND 4-5PM RESPECTIVELY. YOU CAN JOIN US IN PRAYERS WHEREVER YOU MAY BE AT THOSE TIMES OR MAKE OUT TIME OF YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE PLEASE AS YOU ARE LED TO BY GOD. JUST BE SURE TO PRAY ALONG AS YOU FAST.

MONDAY 4TH Thank God for answered prayer towards the progress made so far in the church buildings and Pastoriums in Angwan Sabo, Bagaji, Amba, Angwan Kira, and Oju Mission stations all in the Mid-East Region. TUESDAY 5TH Praise God for the healing of Mrs. Rahila Waziri and Mrs. Abigail Babangida, wives of EMS Missionaries from Gwol and Jos DCC respectively.

WEDNESDAY 6TH Thank God for the gift of land by a woman in Maigatari, Jigawa state. Pray for God’s increasing blessings on the Land donor and also for God’s favor for the church to be able to build on the land. THURSDAY 7TH Thank God for the 15 motor cycles donated to EMS by Narayi High cost, Kaduna state. Pray for God’s blessings on the donors, also pray that the Lord would raise more supporters for EMS. The motorcycles have been distributed to the Missionaries intended.

FRIDAY 8TH Praise God for the provision of 15 wells that were dug in different selected mission stations within the country by the City Ministry. Pray that these wells would be a means of building relationships, evangelism and church planting.
 
SATURDAY 9TH Thank God, for His daily increasing strength and grace on the Administrative staff in handling administrative work in the EMS Headquarters. Pray that God will help every staff to continue to grow in his/her personal relationship with Jesus and with one another. Also, pray that God will empower them with the Holy Spirit daily, to accomplish the will of Christ as they discharge their duties.
WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON EMS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE AND HOME MISSION FIELDS
“Woe unto me if I preach not the gospel” I Cor.9:16
 
SUNDAY 10TH Ask God to strengthen the families of EMS missionaries and to protect their children sexual abuse. Pray that Christian homes will be examples of marital faithfulness and sexual purity to the lost world around us.
 
MONDAY 11TH EMS MIDICAL UNIT: We thank God for the successful deworming exercise of all the children in EMS Children's School, Jos. Pray for God’s provision that the practice will henceforth be a routine in the school. This Unit is in a dare need of N1, 575,000 for the purchase of Medical equipment to enhance quality service delivery in the EMS Children School Clinics in Jos, Lakweme and Kufana. Pray for God’s provision towards meeting these urgent and important needs.
 
TUESDAY 12TH NORTH EAST REGION, GOMBE: Pray for God’s sustaining grace on all converts made during mission programs in the month of May, especially Mr. Mohammed and Ibrahim Abba. Let’s keep praying for Pastor Ahmed K. Siyasa the new EMS missionary to Chibok in Borno State. Pray for God’s protection for him and his Family. Pray for the unreached people group in Chibok. Also, pray for God’s sustaining grace on the believers there.
 
WEDNESDAY 13TH CENTRAL REGION-GARKI: Thank God for the lives of nine (9) individuals who have joined the supporting team of EMS from this region. Pray for God’s grace and provision upon them to be committed. Also pray for speedy recovery of Pas. Joseph Madaki from Garki DCC who was operated upon.
 
THURSDAY 14TH EMS CITY MINISTRIES: Pray for God’s comfort for the Fretheims over the demise of his father. Also pray for Journey mercy for them and for Mr. and Mrs. Peter Michael as they traveled back to their country.

FRIDAY 15TH MID-EAST REGION, LAFIA: Pray for Keffi, Wambai and Sabon Gida Station in Lafia DCC for God’s provisions towards the completion of their on-going church building. Also, pray for provisions of 15 bundles of zinc needed for the roofing of Jinibol Church in Akwanga DCC, and for God’s provision for EMS Widows and open doors for Igbabo Prayer Station. Also, Pray for God’s provision towards the church building project at Useni and Kujekwa Stations, all in Nasarawa DCC.

SATURDAY 16TH SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION, TARABA: Pray for God’s comfort for Rev. Ladan Dilla who lost his first son on 31/5/2016 and for Pas. Sylvester Jerome who lost his wife on the 10th /5/ 2016. Ask that the Lord would grant them and their families the fortitude to bear the lost.
WEEK THREE – FOCUS ON CROSS BOARDERS MISSION FIELDS
"I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” Luke 4:43-44 NIV
 
SUNDAY 17TH BURKINA FASO: Thomas Joshua at Kanchari is doing great work, but has no motorcycle. By the grace of God he has been able to start four (4) Churches among the Fulani in some Fulani camps with the help of the Church at Kanchari. The Villages are Anteinaside with 16 people, Nando 5 people, Bantuina13 people and Yenjunu 16 people. Pray for their proper nurture in the word of God. Also pray for God to meet the urgent need of 1.5 million naira for the purchase of church building land.

MONDAY 18TH TOGO: The Almighty God blessed the family of Pastor & Mrs. Azariah Akawu Gadson a miracle child on the 2/5/2016. The delivery of the baby was not an easy experience, during labor the child was going up, instead of down, until after some serious prayers were made before the baby came out with his button. Besides, the navel cord was found round the baby's neck which could have stopped him from breathing, yet the Lord brought him out alive. Nurses’ were surprised, seeing such Mighty hands of God. More so the wife had series of spiritual attacks from the beginning to the end from voodoos powers, yet the supremacy of God was beyond human imagination. Praise God! '

TUESDAY 19TH TOGO: Praise God for the great victory granted to one woman in Afole village who has been giving birth to still babies, but God granted her grace when she came to the church and was prayed for by the Pastor. Now to God be the glory she has given birth to a bouncing healthy baby.

WEDNESDAY 20TH ZAMBIA: Mr. Aubry is one of those the Lord brought our way and having been trained through our discipleship, we took the step of faith to send him to the Central Province with the capital in Kabwe Zambia. Pray as we look forward for a breakthrough in his ministry for souls to be saved. Let’s continue to pray to God for the Kuzasuwats and their ministry in Zambia as we trust God to lead them to the right direction. Pray with us as we are trusting God for the success of the the inauguration of ECWA in Zambia and Malawi by next year.

THURSDAY 21ST GHANA: Last month the Nadabo’s in Accra were robbed by some armed bandits who broke into their house in the night. They succeeded in taking away their laptop, phones, and money. It was very traumatic for them. Pray that God will encourage them to continue with the good work. Pray also for more protection.

FRIDAY 22ND CHAD: The official inauguration of ECWA Chad is scheduled to hold in November 2016. Pray for God’s provision towards the realization of this dream. SATURDAY 23RD Let us not relent in Praying for missionaries that are ministering away from their home country (Foreign missionaries) to be strengthened with the might and power of God to joyfully carry out their ministry.
WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON THE NATIONS, CHURCH GROWTH AND REVIVAL
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” 1 Tim. 2:1-2
 
SUNDAY 24TH CHURCH LEADERS: Pray for deep cleansing, genuine repentance, and spiritual power to engulf pastors and Christian leaders. Also pray for revival and spiritual awakening amongst them! (Ephesians 6:14-20)

MONDAY 25TH CHURCH GOERS: Ask God to bring deep conviction of sin, spiritual brokenness, holy living, the fear of God and genuine repentance among His people. There will be no revival without these elements and only God can produce them in His people. (2 Corinthians 7:10)

TUESDAY 26TH THE CHURCH AS A BODY: Pray that God will mold the church the way He can powerfully use. Plead that God would deal with any hindrance that will keep the church from being a powerful witness and ministry to the world.
 
WEDNESDAY 27TH THE NATIONS: Pray for the Body of Christ to be filled afresh with God’s Spirit and power to be a faithful witness in the world with the message of God’s love and forgiveness (Acts 1:8).
  • Pray for National, regional and local leaders around the world to open their hearts to God’s wisdom and love.
  • Pray that the Spirit of God would awaken the nations to hear His voice and to see His works (Acts 2:33).
  • Pray for the Word of the Cross of Christ to break the grip of sin’s power so that many will find hope in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins” (Acts 3:19).
 
THURSDAY 28TH Rev. Yila Audu: Thank God, for the life of Rev. Yila the EMS Chief driver and his family for safety and God’s provisions. Pray for God’s constant protections and favor as he directs the affairs of the driving unit of EMS. Pray that God would grant him sound health, wisdom and Grace for effective and selfless work.
 
FRIDAY 29TH Mr. Christopher Dembo: -Thank God for the life of Mr. Christ the EMS Director’s driver. Pray that God would increase upon him the grace, wisdom and strength to function effectively in this capacity. Also, pray for his family for God’s increasing favor and divine protection.

SATURDAY 30TH Mr. James Yabuwat: Thank God for the life of Mr. James Yabuwat, the EMS Cross Border’s Coordinator’s driver. Pray that the Lord would increase upon him the grace, wisdom and strength to function effectively in this capacity. Also, pray for his family for God’s increasing favor and divine protection.
 
SUNDAY 31TH READ OUT THIS PRAYER: Pray that God would be with his people, extend His grace, grand His people freedom, provision, protection, and power to do His will. Ask God to bring about spiritual awakening amongst his people. And may His Name be proclaimed, that all evil plans in Nigeria will be silence in Jesus name. Amen
