ECWA USA NEWS
ECWA exists to glorify God and to achieve His purposes in Christ for every person
Newsletter of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) December 9, 2018
ECWA is a congregation of Christian people seeking to spread the news of Jesus Christ through bible and prayers. We welcome people from all walks of life, no matter what their origin, race, color or nationality. At ECWA, we’re all about Jesus—and the only way to know Jesus is to study the Bible.
We are thankful and so blessed for your continued readership and for inviting ECWA USA NEWS into your home every month. From stories showcasing How Does a Church Survive When Big Givers Leave? on January 25th to How to survive the Next Wave of Automation on October 2nd. We encourage you to continue to pray for the work of the Lord while preparing yourself for jobs that do yet exist in the next wave of automation.
by Rev. Stephen Panya Baba – ECWA President | “If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 4:11 (NIV) (connect via firstname.lastname@example.org)
Most of you would have heard of my new calling to the office of the President of ECWA. We very much appreciate your loving care, concern and support for us. These first few months have been a time of prayer, thinking and reflection on so many things, and we are trusting God to show us the way forward.
Right now, some proposals are at deliberation stage by the ECWA Executive and as we get to finalize them, I shall be intimating you on the implementation process so that you can prayerfully consider what role you can play.
For now, this is to connect with you and let you know that you are in our prayers and thoughts.
Remain blessed in Jesus name. ECWA | Read Online.

A chain of losses resulting in the downward spiral of increasingly undesirable consequences in the midst of a military endeavor has been captured memorably in this well-known adage:
For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the message was lost.
For want of a message the battle was lost.
For want of the battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.
by Dr. (Mrs.) Omobukola Olaoye | When it comes to the choice of the most suitable health insurance plan for me and my family as well as for you and your family, it is about weighing the cost and benefit in our current situation and choosing that which brings us the most value.
As of today, November 1st, you can join or change your health insurance plan for next year. As you may know, the plan changes from year to year. Which is why it’s wise to compare your health insurance choices from different companies before you choose one before the deadline of December 15th. The changes you make to your health Insurance plan will not take effect until January 1st next year.

The fear, of course, is that robots are coming to eat your job. This is true whether or not you are on the factory line, in a hedge fund, or even if you’re behind the sticks at the local bar. Innovation–never one to wait idly while we silly humans amble to catch up–now inserts itself directly into practical uses at stunning speed. The worry is that we are not doing enough, as a society, to account for these changes. ECWA | Continue Reading…..
