WEEK ONE-FOCUS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING FROM HOME/FOREIGN MISSION FIELDS
For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise." Ps 47:7

 

SATURDAY 1ST
Proverbs 11:25, Appreciate God for many who have given themselves to be partners with EMS of ECWA in the work of God. Praise God for the ministry of Mama Fibi Choji (above 85 yrs) in the Far North Region. She has been consistently visiting the EMS missionaries in Katsina, Tsiga, and Jigawa states to encourage them in different areas of their difficulties. Ask the Lord to increase her strength and also bless her with sound good health.

SUNDAY 2ND
Genesis 22:17. Thank God for the blessings of the fruit of the Womb, specifically the safe arrival of a bouncing baby girl who was delivered safely at the Bingham University Teaching Hospital (Jankwanu) to the family of Pas. & Mrs. Yohana Mamman our EMS missionary in the North Central Region. Ask the Lord to strengthen the mother. Also, pray that the child will grow in wisdom and in the knowledge of the Lord.

FIRST (1ST) MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS TO BE OBSERVED NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY AS EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY. THERERFORE, ALL EMS ARMS, MISSIONARIES, OFFICE STAFF, PRAYER PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS SHOULD PLEASE ENDEAVOR TO JOIN THE EMS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN PRAYERS. AS WE JOIN FAITH AND TRUST GOD IN ONE ACCORD WITH BRETHREN AROUND THE WORLD FOR A STEADY AND A FRUITFUL GROWTH OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD, PEACE AND THE SALVATION OF NATIONS, FOR REVIVAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF THE CHURCH. OUR COOPERATE PRAYER TIME AT THE HEAD OFFICE, IS 8-9AM, 12-1PM, AND 3-4 PM RESPECTIVELY. YOU CAN JOIN US IN PRAYERS WHEREVER YOU MAY BE AT THOSE TIMES OR MAKE OUT TIME OF YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE AS YOU ARE LED TO BY GOD. PLEASE. JUST BE SURE TO PRAY ALONG AS YOU FAST.
MONDAY 3RD
There are forty-nine (49) EMS Chadians Missionaries working in Chad Republic, with quite a number of ECWA Churches planted. BY God’s enabling grace the long awaited ECWA chad inauguration has come and gone. Praise God for making this a reality by making the plans and program a success and by granting safety to those who travel for the occasion.
 
TUESDAY 4TH
Praise God for the journey mercies granted to Pastor Amah from Mali and to the family of Pastor & Mrs. Alfred Sodji from Cotonou to Nigeria for their ordination which successfully took place on Wednesday the 23rd, March 2017.
 

WEDNESDAY 5TH
Praise God for using ECWA Wuse II Garki DCC to pay for Rev. & Mrs. Tanimu’s one year rent in Maradi, Niger Republic. Thank God for the success of the Ground Breaking and Foundation Laying of ECWA Niger Republic Discipleship Training Centre which was eventually assisted by ECWA Wuse 2.
 
THURSDAY 6TH
Praise God for the progress and success of the ministry of our mission volunteer, George Mwila in EMS mission station Kapiri – Nposhi Central Province of Zambia. The fellowship has grown now to five committed members. Ask the Lord to sustain them and bring growth to the church.
 
FRIDAY 7TH The Mission Field School in Kenya is enjoying the influx of many more pupils; Praise God for the Favor he has granted the church before the community. Pray that these children, especially the ones who are not believers, will encounter the Lord in this school.
 
SATURDAY 8TH
Praise God for the successful surgery of Mary Barde, one of the orphans in the EMS Gero House of Hope center in Jos. Ask the Lord to perfect healing on her.
  WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON EMS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE AND HOME MISSION FIELDS
“Those who manifest wisdom will shine like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars for ever and ever”. Daniel 12:3
SUNDAY 9TH
EMS ADMINISTRATIVE HEAD OFFICE
  • Praise God for his grace on all the head officestaff.
  • Pray that He bestows on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes and anoint them with the oil of gladness instead ofmourning.
  • Pray that God will Cloth them with a garment ofpraise.
MONDAY 10TH
MID-EAST REGION-LAFIA: Praise God for the new convert won in ECWA family worship center Agyaragun, by name Khadijat (Mercy). Ask the Lord to sustain her in her new faith as she is currently undergoing discipleship.
 
TUESDAY 11TH
CONVERTS: Praise God for the 1,812 new converts made last month during missions programs that were carried out in various missions stations. Ask the Lord to sustain them in Faith and also help the pastors who will follow them up and disciple them.
 
WEDNESDAY 12TH
NORTH – EAST REGION: Praise God for saving Pastor Adamu Ibrahim and his family who were attacked by Boko Haram in Kautikari a community under Chibok LGA of Borno state Nigeria, three days after they arrived at the mission station. Thank God that No life was lost. Ask the Lord to protect them from further attacks alongside many other missionaries working in hostile areas.
 
THURSDAY 13TH
SUPPORTERS: Praise God for the life of our numerous supporters and the 17 others who have just joined in this Kingdom project within the 1st quarter of this year 2017. Ask the Lord to bless them, their families and that he would grant them the grace to stay faithful to their commitment of supporting the work of EMS.
 

FRIDAY 14TH
SOUTH – EAST REGION: Pray for the salvation of Mr A. Salihu who joined EMS Literacy Training in one of the mission stations in this region. Also pray for many other seekers of truth that the Lord will reveal Himself to them.
 
SATURDAY 15TH
SOUTH – WEST REGION – ILORIN: Let us continue to pray for God’s provision for the replacement of the official ministry Hilux Jeep with which the regional coordinator was using to visit missionaries, monitor the mission work of missionaries and aid in moving missionaries on transfer in this region that was broken down since November 2015, which all effort to fix it has proven abortive.
WEEK THREE – FOCUS ON OTHER EMS MISSION ARMS
SUNDAY 16TH
EMS – MEDICAL UNIT: Praise God for answered prayers of the healing of the wife of Pastor Elijah Emetu our missionary who had partial stroke. Continue to pray for them for more strength to do his will.
Ask the Lord to bring healing on the following missionaries suffering from various illnesses: Pst. Musa Yarima, Pst. Mamuda Musa, and Mrs Keziah Dauda.
 
MONDAY 17TH
EMS CHILDREN AND FIELD MISSION SCHOOL:
Praise God for the provision of the set of drums for the EMS children school children Jos. However continue to pray that God will provide more to get the complete musical instrument which is estimated to cost N500, 000.
  • Rev. Musa Dauda has been redeployed to the EMS children school in Jos as its Maintenance officer. Ask the Lord to endow him with wisdom to enable him put in his wealth of experience into developing the Jos school and othercampuses.
TUESDAY 18TH
EMS CITY MINISTRIES: Peter Fretheim the EMS House of Hope consultant has traveled to the states for progress report to our supporters and to also raise more supporters. Ask the Lord to grant him utterance and favor as he ministers in 8 churches.
 
WEDNESDAY 19TH
MISSIONARY KIDS AROUND THE WORLD: Ask the Lord to grant them emotional, physical, and spiritual stability to learn and grow in the knowledge of the Lord. Also, Pray that God will keep from all kinds of evil, and help them to trust Him as their refuge and strength. Also pray that God will guard their minds from harmful instruction, and grant them discernment to recognize schemes of the Devil to lieu them off the part of truth.
 
THURSDAY 20TH
EMS SECURITY PERSONNEL: Considering the increase security threat pose to Christian organization facilities, ask the Lord to grant all EMS security personnel the grace to be steadfast and sensitive to any security threats around EMS facilities within and outside the country.
 
FRIDAY 21ST EMS “ISHMAEL” EVANGELISM UNIT
Pray for Christians living in hostile Muslim territory to show love boldly to new converts whose families have disowned them.
Ask God to give us (His people) a spirit of generosity even in poverty/economic recession and ask Him to provide us with the resources we need to “adopt” these converts and help them obtain clothing, education, food, jobs, and housing, etc.
 

SATURDAY 22ND
EMS MISSIONARY DRIVERS: Ask the Lord to grant EMS Drivers sound decision making, good health and divine protection in all their travels.
WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON CROSS BORDERS MISSION FIELDS
"I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” Luke 4:43-44 NIV
SUNDAY 23RD
The rate of rentage increments in most of our Cross Border Mission Fields is so alarming, that some are double and other thrice of what they used to pay due to the fall in the value of Nigerian currency. Ask the Lord to grant EMS financial opening and favor before the nationals to enable us acquire properties of our own for smooth mission work without rentage harassments.
 
MONDAY 24TH
MALI
  • Praise God for the successful commencement of the ACE Educational program, started by Pastor & Mrs. Amah. Ask the Lord to favor them before the community and to also grant them “mission minded” proficient teachers with whom they might work together in improving the School.
  • The registration documents of ECWA Mali are now on the table of Hon. Minister, keep praying for God's intervention and favor in Jesus name.
  • Ask the Lord to sustain ECWA Mali women fellowship which has been slated for every Wednesday by 1pm
TUESDAY 25TH
NIGER REPUBLIC
  • Ask the Lord to grant us financial breakthrough for the completion of ECWA Niger Republic Discipleship Training Centre whose foundation has been laid by God’sgrace.
  • Pray for God's increased financial supply to ECWA Wuse II for the work of missions in the nations, most especially in ECWA Niger Republic.
  • Please keep praying for funds to sponsor a volunteer missionary couple to Birnin-Konni, Niger Republic to take care of the newly planted ECWAChurch.
WEDNESDAY 26TH ZAMBIA
  • The office is trusting God to recruit Zambians indigenous missionaries as part of the team of workers; Pray for financial provision and God’s leadership in the recruitment processes.
  • Ask the Lord to give us success as we preparation towards the formal inauguration of the ECWA Zambian and ECWA Malawian fields at the last quarter of this year (2017) a reality.
THURSDAY 27TH ECWA CHAD
Praise God for the successful inauguration of ECWA Chad and pray that it will continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of God; also to be self-sustaining, self – supporting/ and self- propagating and that Christ light will shine through them.
 

  FRIDAY 28TH GHANA
  • Ask the Lord to fulfil the vision of starting the Ghana ECWA studentfellowship.
  • Praise God for meeting the need of Pastor Ribina’s motor – cycle through one of our committedsupporter.ContinuetopraythattheLordwillmeetotherurgentandpressing needs.
SATURDAY 29TH
TOGO
  • The church building project in Kaboli is still pending due to financial challenges. Pray for God's provision of the total sum of (N2, 000,000.00) to enable us embark on this building project.
  • Pray for God to provide at least 5 motorcycles that are urgently needed for the missionariesthatareworkingintheinteriorpartsofTogotoenablethemruntheirwork effectively.
WEEK FIVE: FOCUS ON CHRISTIAN REVIVAL, AND HOMES,
“…Revive us so we can call on your name once more. Psalm 80:18
 
SUNDAY 30TH
CHRISTIAN HOMES
Ask the Holy Spirit, to please release His healing, love, and the ministry of reconciliation into many broken Christian homes. Ask that He fill us with the love of God, a desire for purity, and also purge our hearts of resentments towards each other.
 
CHURCH REVIVAL
  • Many churches need healing amongst members. Pray that churches would stop competing and nursing jealously with other churches. Pray that God will bring loving unityamongmembersinourchurchesandadeepharmonybetweenourchurches.(John 13:35)
  • Pray that God will fill His people with passion for the salvation of the lost. Ask that God will give us, (His people) passion for missions and churchplanting.
